The major rise we witnessed culminated with the earnings report. It is the fastest rise in the history of this stock. You know a strong move like this one is not sustainable. A news induced move cannot last after the news hype dies out.
If positive news can cause such a rise, what type of news are needed for the drop that is about to unfold?
AMD already closed one week red, the first red week since March. The session closed at the bottom of the candle. This week also starts red. The week starting red after a red close is just bad news. Can AMD and NVDA and XAU (Gold) go down while Bitcoin goes up? I think so.
We already looked at all the oscillators and so on.
This is a friendly reminder; a bearish wave follows a bullish wave. A correction develops after a strong bullish period. AMD started to rise in April 2025 and a peak only appeared this month, May 2026. After an entire year of growth, it is normal to see a correction.
The chart is pointing down. Weakness is showing all over the place. A crash is unavoidable based on TA.
