What remains unclear to me is the strategy being pursued by Kevin Warsh and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
Personally, I do not believe the U.S. Dollar Index (DXY) will remain sustainably above the 101–102 range.
Regarding gold and silver (
GOLD1! and 
SILVER1!), once they retest the lows established before the TACO post, I plan to cover all of my short positions and turn bullish.
More broadly, my long-term view on the U.S. trajectory has not changed.
The United States is increasingly being perceived as a less reliable partner by the rest of the world, and many countries are gradually diversifying their economic and strategic relationships away from the U.S.
