USNAS100 | Holding Above Key Support After 500-Point Drop
U.S. stock indices closed lower as the U.S.-Iran conflict continued to escalate, driving oil prices and Treasury yields higher. Investors also remained cautious over whether massive AI-related capital spending by major technology companies will generate sufficient returns.
Technically
The Nasdaq dropped from our projected resistance at 29210 and reached the 28410 support level exactly, delivering a move of more than 500 points.
The index is now consolidating between 28560 and 28410, with the next directional move likely to be confirmed after a breakout.
A 1H candle close above 28560 would support a bullish recovery toward 28860 and 29210.
However, a 4H candle close below 28400 would confirm bearish continuation toward 27530, followed by 26720.
Pivot Line: 28560 – 28410
Support: 27530 – 26720
Resistance: 28860 – 29210
