XAUUSD is currently showing an interesting multi-timeframe setup. On the Weekly timeframe, price has swept the swing low liquidity and reacted from a strong 4H/1H Bullish POI. There is also a Volume Imbalance inside the Weekly supply zone, which can act as a potential upside target if price continues to follow the higher-timeframe bullish bias.On the Daily timeframe, price has reacted from an Advance Bearish Order Block in the supply area and is currently delivering toward the Daily swing low liquidity. During this bearish delivery, price also created a fresh Bearish OB + FVG inside the supply area, which can act as an intraday resistance zone.
On the 4H timeframe, price has a key Bullish OB + FVG in the demand area, refined on the 1H timeframe. This zone is important because it is acting as a potential defense point for buyers.
Monday Opening Plan
Scenario 1: Gap Down Opening
If price opens with a gap down and sweeps the Daily swing low liquidity, then I will wait for bullish confirmation. After the liquidity sweep, if price gives Bullish Displacement + MSS on lower timeframe, I will look for a long trade on retest.
The upside target will be the Daily supply zone / Bearish OB FVG, and if momentum continues, price can later target the Weekly Volume Imbalance.
Scenario 2: Flat Opening
If price opens flat, I will wait to see how price reacts around the 4H/1H refined Bullish OB FVG.
If price respects this demand zone and gives strong rejection with Bullish Displacement + MSS on LTF, then a long trade can be planned on retest, targeting the supply area Bearish OB FVG.
But if price fails to respect the 4H/1H OB FVG and breaks it with strong bearish displacement, then the next draw on liquidity will likely be the Daily swing low. In that case, a counter-trend short setup can be planned until liquidity is swept.
After the sweep of Daily swing low liquidity, I will again look for bullish confirmation because the higher-timeframe Weekly bias remains bullish.
Final Bias
My overall bias for XAUUSD is bullish from the higher timeframe, especially after the Weekly swing low liquidity sweep. However, for intraday execution, Monday’s opening will be very important.
I will not enter blindly. I will wait for price reaction, liquidity sweep, MSS, displacement, and retest confirmation before planning any trade.
