Yesterday, I advised traders to avoid chasing rallies and cutting losses prematurely—preventing whipsaw-related exits. Today’s sharp gold drop confirmed our algorithm’s analysis.
Gold fell steadily from 4665 in early trading to an intraday low of 4511 during Asian and European sessions.
In our trading community, I noted strong support near 4500 during the European session and flagged a likely oversold bounce. Gold rebounded to 4566—aligning with that view.
Given today’s steep decline, a technical correction is probable. Shorting now risks catching the bottom.
Strategy:
1. Watch for stabilization and rebound near 4500. A triple bottom forming there would signal strong bullish potential.
2. Near-term resistance levels: 4580 (first), then 4620 and 4660.
