This indicator implements a price-action based momentum and momentum-rate-of-change framework directly on the price chart. It is designed to track swing intensities and trigger clear entry signals when volatility-adjusted price shifts cross upper or lower threshold boundaries.
Key Features & Calculation Logic
LWPI Core Engine: Computes a normalized oscillator combining open-to-close price deltas against the total high-low range over a defined lookback period, scaled by a multiplier.
Rate of Change (RoC): Measures momentum shifts via a secondary smoothing and span logic, supporting both absolute difference and percentage mode.
Trend Filter Integration: Includes a fully customizable baseline moving average to contextualize price position relative to the macro trend.
Visual Triggers & Customization: Features optional background fills, bar coloring based on threshold zones, and drift-free label placement (B / S).
Live Dashboard Table: A multi-column performance and state table positioned at the bottom center of the chart, displaying current RoC values, live signal state, active periods, limits, and trend position.
Settings & Inputs
Calculation:
Period: Lookback window for core range and price delta evaluations.
Multiplicator: Scaling factor for the base oscillator output.
RoC Span: Lookback distance for the rate of change calculation.
Percent Mode: Toggles percentage-based RoC computation.
MA Type / Smoothing Length: Configurable moving average filters.
Thresholds:
Upper Limit / Lower Limit: Boundary limits triggering bullish or bearish crossovers.
Overlay Display:
Show 200 MA Trend Filter: Toggles the baseline trend line and its coloring.
Background Color / Bar Coloring: Custom visual highlights for active zones and signals.
Show Info Box: Toggles the real-time summary HUD table.

Includes built-in alert conditions for automation and real-time tracking:
LWPI Sig — BUY: Triggers on a confirmed upper threshold crossover.
LWPI Sig — SELL: Triggers on a confirmed lower threshold crossunder.
LWPI Sig — Any Signal: Triggers on any direction shift.
