# Master Buy Scanner V2 + Long-Term Growth Fundamentals
Master Buy Scanner V2 is a long-term stock rebound scanner built for investors who want to identify technically oversold opportunities and review them through a broader quality, valuation, growth and risk framework.
The indicator combines several layers of analysis into one structured dashboard:
* WaveTrend oversold-cycle detection
* MACD-based momentum confirmation
* Combined multi-indicator band confirmation
* Fundamental quality scoring
* Value and growth diagnostics
* Advanced entry-quality and risk filters
* BUY, EARLY BUY, SOFT BUY, WATCH and GROWTH WATCH labels
* Pine Screener-compatible outputs
* A clear status table for manual review
The goal of the script is not to generate blind trading signals, but to help investors identify situations where a stock may be recovering from a deeply oversold zone while still showing acceptable long-term business quality.
## How the signal logic works
The scanner looks for a potential long-term rebound setup in three main steps.
First, it checks whether the stock has recently reached a meaningful oversold zone using WaveTrend conditions. This helps identify stocks that may have gone through a strong correction or capitulation phase.
Second, it waits for technical recovery confirmation. This includes a WaveTrend turn, a green MACD band and a sufficient number of green lights from the combined technical band system.
Third, it evaluates the quality of the setup using fundamental and advanced filters. These include profitability, historical growth, forward growth, cash flow, valuation, debt, support proximity, drawdown quality, false-bottom risk and value-trap risk.
A full BUY signal appears only when the technical setup is aligned and the broader quality conditions are acceptable.
## Signal types
BUY
A qualified setup where the technical rebound structure is complete and the quality/fundamental conditions are acceptable.
STRICT BUY
A stronger version of the BUY signal where the combined technical band confirmation is stricter.
EARLY BUY
An earlier technical entry signal where the setup is improving but has not reached the strictest confirmation level yet.
SOFT BUY
A more flexible rebound signal that can detect shallower oversold turns or early WaveTrend hooks before a full strict setup.
WATCH
A pre-BUY monitoring signal. It means the stock is showing early signs of improvement but is not yet ready for a full BUY classification.
GROWTH WATCH
A diagnostic opportunity label for stocks where the technical setup is improving and the long-term growth or recovery profile may be interesting, but the setup does not yet qualify as a full BUY.
## Fundamental framework
The script uses TradingView financial data to evaluate several business-quality dimensions, including:
* Earnings per share
* P/E ratio
* 3-year EPS growth
* 3-year revenue growth
* Return on equity
* Return on invested capital
* Free cash flow margin
* Free cash flow yield
* EV/EBITDA
* EV/FCF
* Debt/equity
* Net debt/EBITDA
* Forward EPS growth
* EPS estimate revisions
* Operating margin trend
These inputs are converted into color-coded lights and aggregate scores, helping users distinguish between stronger long-term opportunities, value-assisted setups, growth-assisted setups, and higher-risk turnarounds.
## Advanced quality checks
The indicator also includes additional diagnostics designed to reduce weak or premature entries. These include:
* Meaningful drawdown detection
* No falling-knife confirmation
* Support proximity
* Signal freshness
* False-bottom warnings
* Value-trap warnings
* Recovery evidence
* Relative strength and market regime options
* Sector/business profile settings
These filters help users understand whether a potential rebound is still attractive, already late, too risky, or better suited for watchlist monitoring.
## Best use cases
This scanner is best used for:
* Long-term stock watchlist building
* Finding oversold quality, value or growth rebound candidates
* Reviewing monthly or weekly stock setups
* Comparing technical recovery with business fundamentals
* Building a shortlist for deeper manual research
* Pine Screener workflows
It is especially useful for investors who want to avoid relying only on simple RSI/MACD oversold signals and prefer a broader technical + fundamental decision framework.
## Important notes
This indicator is a decision-support and research tool. It does not provide personalized investment advice, portfolio allocation advice, or guaranteed buy/sell recommendations.
Signals should always be reviewed manually and combined with the user’s own research, risk management and investment process.
Trading involves risk. Past performance and historical signals do not guarantee future results.

Script update — ETF / Fund Mode addedI have updated Master Buy Scanner V2 with a new ETF / fund analysis layer.
The script was originally built as a long-term stock rebound scanner combining WaveTrend oversold cycles, MACD confirmation, combined technical bands, fundamental quality, value/growth diagnostics and advanced entry-quality filters.
This update expands the logic so the scanner can now also be used more effectively on ETFs and funds.
What has been added:
ETF / fund profile detection
The script now includes an Instrument Profile setting: Auto, Stock or ETF. In Auto mode, the script attempts to treat fund-type symbols as ETFs/funds and applies a more relevant ETF decision framework instead of relying only on stock-style fundamentals.
ETF quality scoring
A new ETF quality framework has been added, including checks for trend, liquidity, relative strength, drawdown quality and historical depth.
ETF strategy profiles
The user can now select the ETF strategy type:
* Broad market
* Sector
* Thematic growth
* Commodity
* Bond
* Leveraged / inverse
This helps adapt the interpretation of drawdowns, trend behavior and risk depending on the type of ETF being reviewed.
Manual ETF structure checks
Because TradingView does not automatically provide all ETF structure data, I added optional manual inputs for:
* TER / expense ratio
* AUM / fund size quality
* Replication type
* Concentration risk
* Currency hedging
* Tracking difference
* Bid/ask spread
* Number of holdings
* Top 10 holdings weight
* Securities lending risk
* Domicile / tax quality
* Provider quality
* Distribution / tax fit
These inputs help separate cleaner long-term ETF setups from structurally weaker or more concentrated products.
ETF-specific entry signals
The script now includes dedicated ETF entry logic:
* ETF STARTER signal
* ETF PULLBACK signal
* ETF ACCUMULATION signal
This is designed to make the tool more useful for long-term ETF investors, where the goal is often not to find a perfect stock-style reversal, but to identify attractive pullback or accumulation zones in quality ETFs.
New table rows and diagnostics
The status table now includes ETF-specific sections such as:
* ETF quality
* ETF score
* ETF type
* ETF trend
* ETF relative strength
* ETF liquidity
* ETF drawdown
* ETF history depth
* ETF tracking / spread
* ETF diversification
* ETF provider / tax fit
New screener and alert outputs
I also added ETF-specific outputs and alert conditions so users can monitor ETF pullback, starter and accumulation setups more easily.
Important note
The stock scanner logic remains focused on identifying long-term rebound candidates using technical oversold conditions, momentum confirmation, fundamentals and risk filters. The new ETF mode adds a more suitable framework for ETF/fund analysis, where traditional company fundamentals are often unavailable or less relevant.
As always, this indicator is intended as a research and decision-support tool. It does not provide personalized investment advice or guaranteed buy/sell recommendations. Signals should always be reviewed manually together with broader research and risk management.

Script update - ETF mode, additional quality checks and historical examplesI have updated Stoufi - Master Buy Scanner V2 + Long-Term Growth Fundamentals with a new ETF / fund analysis layer and additional configuration options.
The script was originally built as a long-term rebound scanner combining WaveTrend oversold cycles, MACD confirmation, combined technical bands, fundamental quality, value/growth diagnostics and advanced entry-quality filters.
With this update, the scanner can now be used more effectively across stocks, ETFs, funds and crypto charts, with more flexibility depending on the type of asset being reviewed.
What has been added:
ETF / fund mode
The script now includes an Instrument Profile setting:
* Auto
* Stock
* ETF
In Auto mode, the script attempts to identify fund-type instruments and applies a more relevant ETF/fund decision framework instead of relying only on company-style fundamentals.
ETF quality framework
A new ETF quality scoring layer has been added, including:
* ETF trend
* ETF long-term trend
* Relative strength versus benchmark
* Liquidity
* Drawdown quality
* History depth
* ETF structure checks
Manual ETF structure datapoints
Because TradingView does not automatically provide all ETF structure data, I added optional manual inputs for:
* TER / expense ratio
* AUM / fund size quality
* Replication quality
* Concentration risk
* Currency hedging
* Tracking difference
* Bid/ask spread
* Number of holdings
* Top 10 holdings weight
* Securities lending risk
* Domicile / tax quality
* Provider quality
* Distribution / tax fit
These inputs allow users to adapt the scanner to their own ETF selection criteria and separate cleaner long-term ETF setups from structurally weaker or more concentrated products.
ETF-specific entry logic
The update also adds dedicated ETF signals:
* ETF STARTER
* ETF PULLBACK
* ETF ACCUMULATION
This is designed to make the script more useful for long-term ETF investors. For ETFs, the objective is often not to find a perfect stock-style reversal, but to identify attractive pullback or accumulation zones in quality instruments.
Configurable settings
Users can customize the scanner directly from the settings panel, including:
* WaveTrend oversold levels
* BUY / WATCH / SOFT BUY conditions
* Combined band thresholds
* Fundamental thresholds
* ETF quality thresholds
* ETF structure inputs
* Table display options
* Signal visibility
* Entry-quality and position-size logic
This makes the tool adaptable to different asset classes, timeframes and personal screening criteria.
Suggested timeframes
Based on current testing:
* Crypto: 2-week or 3-week timeframe tends to provide cleaner long-term signals.
* Large ETFs: 2-week timeframe can work well for longer-term pullback/accumulation zones.
* Smaller or more volatile ETFs: 2-week timeframe also helps reduce noise.
* Stocks: 1-month timeframe usually provides safer and cleaner long-term rebound signals.
Historical examples
These examples are shared to illustrate how the scanner behaves on different asset classes and timeframes. They are not a guarantee of future performance.

Important note
The script is intended as a research and decision-support tool. It does not provide personalized investment advice or guaranteed buy/sell recommendations.
Historical BUY, SOFT BUY, WATCH or ETF signals should always be reviewed manually together with the broader market context, fundamentals, ETF structure, risk management and the user’s own investment process.

# Latest - update of the script to improve reliabilityملاحظات الأخبار
Update: Live BUY signal examples - captured as they appearI wanted to share a few current examples of BUY signals detected by the scanner directly on the chart.
The purpose of these examples is to show how the script behaves when a signal appears in real time, not only by looking back at historical signals after a move has already happened.
These are not trade recommendations and the future outcome is unknown. They are shared only to document current signal behavior and to make the scanner logic easier to review.
Current BUY signal examples:
Sodexo
FDS
CDW
ITP
Why this matters
Many indicators can look good when only historical examples are shown. With these snapshots, the goal is to document signals as they appear directly on the chart, before knowing whether the setup will work or fail.
The scanner is designed to identify long-term rebound setups by combining:
* WaveTrend oversold-cycle detection
* MACD / band confirmation
* Combined technical confirmation
* Fundamental and quality filters where available
* Advanced entry-quality diagnostics
* BUY / SOFT BUY / WATCH / ETF-specific signals
These examples should be monitored over time to evaluate how the signals develop after detection.
Reminder
This script is a research and decision-support tool. A BUY signal does not guarantee a profitable outcome and should not be used as a standalone trading decision.
Each setup should be reviewed manually together with broader market context, fundamentals, risk management and the user’s own investment process.
