FX EVO Delta Profile

243
FX EVO Delta Profile shows the estimated buying and selling activity inside liquidity zones, how much volume each zone has absorbed, and how price behaves when a zone is swept.

This script is an adaptation of "Liquidity Delta Profiler" by LuxAlgo, used under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence. The signal logic is unchanged. FX EVO changes: name, dashboard colours, chart watermark and alert text. LuxAlgo does not endorse this adaptation.

HOW IT WORKS

Liquidity zones
Confirmed swing highs create Buy-Side Liquidity (BSL) zones, measured from the candle high to the top of its body. Confirmed swing lows create Sell-Side Liquidity (SSL) zones, measured from the candle low to the bottom of its body. Very thin zones are expanded to a minimum height of 0.1 ATR. A pivot needs the set number of bars on each side to confirm (15 by default), so zones are drawn back to the pivot candle after confirmation.

Delta quadrants
Each zone is split into four quadrants. Bar delta is estimated as volume x (close - open) / (high - low), then shared across the quadrants according to how much of the bar overlaps each one. Green means estimated buying dominates a quadrant, and red means estimated selling dominates.

Zone health
Health starts at 100% and falls as volume trades inside the zone. Capacity is average volume multiplied by the Zone Volume Capacity setting.

Sweeps
A BSL zone is swept when the high trades above it. An SSL zone is swept when the low trades below it. Swept zones can stay on the chart with dashed outlines.

REVERSAL SIGNALS

Each zone can print one signal. The outer quadrant is the edge of the zone that price sweeps through.

ABS (Absorption): during a sweep, the outer quadrant holds delta against the sweep direction, at more than 20% of the zone's total absolute delta.
EXH (Exhaustion): during a sweep, the outer quadrant holds less than 10% of the zone's total absolute delta.
DIV (Delta Divergence): price closes inside the zone while the outer quadrant holds more than 60% of total absolute delta in the direction of the sweep.
REJ (Snapback Rejection): during a sweep, the bar closes back beyond the zone midpoint and its delta opposes the sweep by more than 20% of bar volume.

Larger, more solid labels mean a stronger reading of that signal's condition. They are not a measure of probability.

DASHBOARD

The dashboard counts each signal type on the current chart and symbol. A signal counts as a win if price closes in the signal's direction, relative to the signal bar's close, for 3 consecutive bars within a 10-bar window. Both values can be changed.

This is a simple time-based check, not a backtest. It does not account for stop losses, take profits, spread, commission or slippage, so it does not represent trading profit.

SETTINGS

- Pivot Length, Max Zones per Type, Show Swept Zones, Filter Overlapping Zones
- Show Zone Decay, Zone Volume Capacity
- Enable Reversal Detection
- Dashboard position, size, evaluation window and hold time, plus optional bar highlighting
- BSL, SSL and delta colours
- Watermark on/off and position

ALERTS

Create an alert and choose "Any alert() function call" to be notified when a zone is tested, a zone is swept, or a reversal signal prints.

LIMITATIONS

- Delta is estimated from candle data. It is not real order flow or footprint data.
- The script needs volume data. Forex and CFD symbols usually provide tick volume, which varies by data source and only approximates activity. Without volume data, no delta or signals will appear.
- Signals can print while a bar is still open, so wait for the bar to close before relying on one.
