Bitcoin Sniper Confluence [Viprasol] is a bitcoin-only entry engine. A fast / slow EMA crossover is the trigger, but a crossover only becomes a signal when an 8-factor confluence score agrees with it and four bitcoin-specific gates are open: a symbol guard that suppresses signals on non-bitcoin charts, a macro-link factor (Nasdaq positive correlation or DXY inverse correlation), Europe / US liquidity windows with a weekend gate, and an average-daily-range (ADR) exhaustion filter. Every signal is tracked as its own trade with an ATR stop, up to three targets, breakeven after TP1 and a running outcome tally, and the dashboard adds a BTC dominance read-out.
It is built for BTCUSD / BTCUSDT spot, perpetual and CME BTC / MBT futures traders on intraday charts who want each crossover confirmed by the macro tape, the time of day and the day's remaining range before acting. The on-chart HOW IT WORKS legend, live checklist and summary footer explain the logic directly on the chart.
🔵 WHY BITCOIN NEEDS ITS OWN FILTERS
- Bitcoin trades as a risk asset. Since 2020 its intraday direction has tracked the Nasdaq far more often than not, and it tends to move against the dollar. An EMA crossover that fights the macro tape is a lower-quality crossover. The macro factor scores that relationship, but only while the rolling correlation is actually there, because bitcoin does decouple at times (ETF flow days, exchange events, halving cycles).
- Bitcoin trades 24/7, but its volume does not. Order books are deepest while European and US markets are open, when CME futures, spot ETFs and equity desks are active. Crossovers during Asian hours and at weekends happen in thin books and are more likely to whipsaw or be retraced on Monday.
- Bitcoin has a measurable average daily range. Once the day has already travelled its usual distance, a late crossover is buying or selling into exhaustion. The ADR filter blocks those entries.
- The symbol guard keeps the macro and ADR logic honest. It only makes sense on bitcoin, so signals are suppressed elsewhere unless you deliberately turn bitcoin-only mode off.
🔵 HOW IT WORKS
The indicator waits for an EMA crossover, scores the market, checks the four bitcoin gates, and then tracks the resulting trade to its stop or final target:
1 — EMA Crossover Trigger
- Fast / slow cross: Fast EMA (default 9) crossing above the slow EMA (default 21) is a long trigger; crossing below is a short trigger.
- Bar-close confirmation: With the option on, the cross must still hold when the bar closes, so an intra-bar wick cannot fire a signal. Bitcoin wicks are large, so this is on by default.
2 — Confluence Score, 8 Factors
Each bar the indicator counts how many factors agree with each direction:Pine Script®
3 — Macro-Link FactorPine Script®
- Default symbol: CME_MINI:NQ1!, because Nasdaq futures trade almost 24 hours, so the correlation window is filled on bitcoin's overnight bars.
- Dashboard: shows the macro value, its trend arrow, the live correlation and a tick when the link is active. Turning the factor off makes the score out of 7.
4 — Bitcoin Symbol GuardPine Script®
- Recognised: spot pairs, perpetuals (.P / PERP / SWAP tickers), CFDs and CME futures, each named on the dashboard.
- Excluded: spot ETFs and trusts are stock-type symbols and are deliberately not treated as bitcoin, because their sessions and ranges are equity sessions and ranges.
5 — Europe / US Liquidity Windows and Weekend GatePine Script®
- Independent gates: keep the weekend block while trading all hours, or the reverse.
- Blocked crossovers: marked with a small grey x; the dashboard shows which window (EUROPE, US, EU + US OVERLAP, ASIA / OFF-HOURS or WEEKEND) the last bar belongs to. The active window can be shaded on the chart.
6 — ADR Exhaustion FilterPine Script®
- No repainting: the ADR is requested from the daily feed with a one-bar offset so historical and live bars see the same completed-day value, and today's range is accumulated bar by bar.
- Dashboard: shows ADR in the quote currency and the percentage used, turning amber from 75% of the threshold and red once blocked.
7 — Final Signal GatePine Script®
Every gate only removes crossovers; none of them creates a signal on its own.
8 — Trade Tracker: ATR Stop and Take-Profit Ladder
- Stop and targets: Stop = entry -/+ ATR(14) x 1.5. Targets sit at 1R, 2R and 3R; the number of targets (1-3) is configurable.
- One trade per signal: each signal becomes its own tracked trade that runs until it touches its stop or its last target, so ladders can overlap when a new crossover fires while an older trade is still open.
- Hit marking and breakeven: target lines turn turquoise and the label gets a tick when touched; the stop moves to breakeven when TP1 is hit.
- Percent distances: every label states its distance from entry as a percentage of the entry price, for example "SL: 67250 (-1.2%)" or "TP1: 68900 (+1.2%)", and the dashboard shows ATR and risk in both the quote currency and percent. Percent is used instead of points because bitcoin's price level changes by orders of magnitude across cycles.
- History: closed trades keep their ladder on the chart, ending at the bar where they closed, and the dashboard tallies TP1 hits, full targets, stops and breakeven exits over the trades kept on the chart.
9 — BTC Dominance Read-Out
The dashboard reads CRYPTOCAP:BTC.D and shows bitcoin's share of total crypto market cap with an arrow against its 20-bar average. It is not scored; it is there so you can see at a glance whether a move is bitcoin-led or alt-led.
10 — Retest Candles
While the latest trade is open, a candle that pulls back into the fast EMA without breaking the slow EMA is coloured orange as a possible add-on point.

🔵 HOW TO USE
Setup
- Chart: open a bitcoin chart (BITSTAMP:BTCUSD, COINBASE:BTCUSD, BINANCE:BTCUSDT, BINANCE:BTCUSDT.P or CME:BTC1!) using standard candlesticks.
- Defaults: keep the 9 / 21 EMAs and minimum score 5 to start.
- Timezone: windows are written in New York time by default; switch to Exchange (UTC on most crypto venues) if you prefer.
- Macro: leave the macro symbol on CME_MINI:NQ1! in positive mode, or switch to TVC:DXY and inverse mode if you track bitcoin against the dollar.
Reading the Chart
- BUY / SELL label: a crossover that passed the score and all four bitcoin gates.
- Grey x: a crossover that had enough confluence but was blocked by the symbol guard, the hours filter, the weekend gate or the ADR filter. The dashboard's Signal row names the reason.
- Ladder: cyan dashed line = entry, red line = stop, green dashed lines = TP1-TP3. A turquoise line and a tick mean that target was touched. A dotted cyan stop means it has moved to breakeven.
- Orange candle: pullback into the fast EMA while the latest trade is open.
- Shading: violet = Europe window, orange = US window, brighter orange = the overlap, grey = weekend.
Panels
- HOW IT WORKS (top left by default) explains the flow in seven lines.
- Checklist (bottom left by default) shows a tick or cross for all eight factors and the four bitcoin gates for the currently stronger side, and states whether the engine is ARMED, BLOCKED or waiting for confluence.
- Dashboard (top right by default) shows live values, the macro link, BTC dominance, session, ADR, risk in currency and percent, and trade status.
- Positions: every panel has its own position setting (nine positions), so they can be arranged to suit any chart size.
Recommended Starting Points
- Scalping (1m-5m): EMA 5 / 13, minimum score 6, ATR x 1.0, ADR block 90%
- Intraday (15m-1H): EMA 9 / 21, minimum score 5, ATR x 1.5, ADR block 100%
- Swing (4H-1D): EMA 9 / 21, minimum score 4, ATR x 2.0, hours filter off, weekend gate on, ADR block 150%
These are starting points only. Bitcoin's volatility regime changes; test on historical data and adjust before trading live.

🔵 LIMITATIONS & DISCLAIMER
- Lag: EMA crossovers lag by nature. The gates reduce whipsaws but cannot remove them; ranging days will still produce crossovers that fail.
- Macro data: the macro factor depends on the macro symbol being available to your account and having data on the chart timeframe. Nasdaq futures pause for about an hour each weekday and are closed from Friday evening to Sunday evening; during those gaps the last known value is carried forward, so the correlation window contains flat stretches at weekends.
- Correlation warm-up: the rolling window is empty at the very start of the chart history and the macro factor scores nothing there.
- Scored, not gated: if you lower the minimum to 4, a cross with only three technical factors plus the macro point can qualify.
- Wall-clock filters: exchange maintenance windows, US holidays and daylight-saving changes can shift when bitcoin is actually liquid.
- ADR is an average: bitcoin can and does run far past it on news or liquidation cascades; the filter deliberately stays out of those late moves. Raise the block threshold if you want to stay in on trend days.
- Dominance: a market-cap aggregate from CRYPTOCAP that updates at that symbol's own cadence; informational only.
- Secondary RSI: uses request.security and its current-bar value can change until that timeframe's bar closes.
- Visual only: entry, stop and target lines are references. The indicator does not place or manage trades.
- No guarantees: past performance of any signal system does not guarantee future results. Always use proper risk management and do your own analysis before trading.
