Overview
This script is a high-fidelity implementation of the Fabulous 4 strategy as taught by master trader Oliver Velez. Unlike standard indicators that rely on lagged signals, this script focuses on Location. By identifying the "Institutional Floor and Ceiling" before the market opens, traders can determine the true directional bias of the session within the first two minutes of trading.
How it Works
The script automatically captures the four critical elements defined in the Velez methodology:
20 SMA (Simple Moving Average)
200 SMA (Simple Moving Average)
Prior Day Close
Prior Day Late Range (The high/low of the final 45 minutes of the previous session).
The "Fab 4 Box" is dynamically drawn by enveloping the highest and lowest of these four items. This creates a "no-man's land" zone; price action above the box is considered Green Territory (Bullish), and price action below is Red Territory (Bearish).
Key Features
Universal Exchange Logic: Uses syminfo.timezone to automatically sync with the NYSE/NASDAQ clock, making it "plug-and-play" for traders anywhere in the world.
2-Minute Match Label: Automatically identifies if the opening 2-minute candles "match" their location, printing a BULLISH or BEARISH BIAS label.
Dynamic Invalidation: To prevent "bull/bear traps," the script automatically deletes the bias label if the price closes back inside or through the box, signaling that the initial institutional momentum has failed.
Best Used On: 2-minute timeframes for maximum accuracy in signal detection.
