ADA Price Defends Key Support as Whales Keep Accumulating

* The ADA price is defending the key $0.1500 support zone after posting a 7% weekly rebound.
* Cardano's market cap added about $400 million as whale wallets now control 67.5% of the circulating supply.
* Leios scaling upgrades and the August 2026 ETF milestone remain key catalysts for the ADA price.

After months of heavy selling, Cardano is finally showing signs of life. The ADA price has bounced from one of its most important support zones, giving traders a reason to start paying attention again. The recovery looks encouraging, but the bigger trend hasn't changed just yet. Buyers still need to prove they can push ADA above key resistance levels before the market can start talking about a broader reversal.

Right now, the ADA price is trading around $0.1691, up roughly 7% over the past week. That rebound began after buyers stepped in around the $0.1503-$0.1545 demand zone, an area that crypto analyst The Boss has been watching closely. In his view, Cardano is doing what it needs to do by defending support. The next challenge is whether buyers can build on that strength and reclaim higher price levels.

The charts are starting to look a little healthier too. We had a look at both the daily and lower-timeframe charts, and ADA has recovered almost 100% from its yearly low near $0.10. The token is also trading above its 100-day simple moving average at $0.1766, while the daily RSI is holding around 53, showing there's still room for buyers to keep pushing higher.

On the lower timeframe, ADA has already formed a higher low near $0.1526, with the next resistance zone sitting between $0.1650 and $0.1700. If buyers can clear that area, the next levels to watch are $0.18 and the weekly resistance near $0.2242.

The on-chain data is also moving in the right direction. Cardano's market cap climbed from around $5.35 billion to $5.75 billion during the latest recovery, adding roughly $400 million in value. Even after that move, ADA is still trading about 95% below its all-time high, but the latest rebound has at least stopped the steady decline that had dominated the market for months.

For now, everything comes back to the $0.1500 support zone. As long as buyers continue defending that area, the recovery remains intact, with $0.1650, $0.18, and $0.2242 becoming the next levels to watch. If support breaks, attention could quickly turn back toward $0.14.

The technical picture is improving, whale accumulation remains strong, and development across the Cardano ecosystem continues, but buyers still have another hurdle to clear before the broader trend changes.
