That disconnect matters—price tends to respect the tape first, then the narrative catches up later.
On the 1D chart, the gap from ~$225 into the ~$200 area flipped structure bearish (BOS/MSS) and left AMZN trading well below the MA20 ($225.49), MA60 ($229.52), and MA120 ($229.16). The current pause near ~$201 looks like a bear flag: volatility is elevated (ATR ~7.16), and momentum is still negative, even if the MACD histogram is starting to flatten.
Key levels are clean. Support is $196 (panic low range $196–$198). A daily close < $195 is the continuation trigger, opening $188 and potentially $180.
