AUDUSD Bullish Above 0.71500 on Risk-On and Weak USD!!
Hey Traders, in today's trading session we are monitoring AUDUSD for a buying opportunity around the 0.71500 zone. AUDUSD is trading in an uptrend and currently is in a correction phase in which price is approaching the trendline support around the 0.71500 support and resistance area.
From the macro side, the US Dollar remains under pressure as markets continue pricing a best-case diplomatic outcome between the US and Iran, which has improved overall risk sentiment and pushed investors back into higher-beta currencies. This broader risk-on environment is highly supportive for the Australian Dollar, especially as safe-haven demand for the USD continues to fade.
In addition, the softer US inflation backdrop is reinforcing expectations that the Fed may stay patient, which further caps dollar upside and keeps AUDUSD supported on dips. With equities holding strong and commodity sentiment stabilizing, the pair remains well-positioned for continuation higher as long as price respects the 0.71500 demand zone.
As long as diplomatic optimism remains intact over the next 48 hours, the path of least resistance continues to favor upside in AUDUSD.
