Bitcoin Dominance has been moving sideways within a neutral range between the 58 and 60 levels for more than a year.
Based on the structure it has formed, BTC Dominance appears to be exposed to another potential drop, with the red zone being the most important area to watch for the start of this decline.
The current structure looks like a Triple Combination pattern, where the second X wave, which appears to be a Diametric pattern, is now approaching its final stages. Only wave G seems to remain before the structure is completed. Once this wave finishes, we expect Bitcoin Dominance to decline toward the targets marked on the chart.
A significant drop in Bitcoin Dominance could create a favorable environment for altcoins, allowing them to potentially generate strong returns and recover some of the performance they missed during Bitcoin’s previous rally.
It is expected that Bitcoin Dominance will continue its decline at least until the vertical time line marked on the chart.
A weekly candle close above the invalidation level would invalidate this analysis.
