Why, tho? (ordered most important to "least")
- ETH2.0 + EIP1559 = Deflationary ETH by ~2023 while BTC will still be inflating
- Layer 2 (Optimisim, ZKRollups) + ETH2 Sharding will increase throughput by multiple orders of magnitude
- ETH on ETH2.0 will secure and be needed to interact with the most trusted, decentralized, smart contract enabled block space
- Currently yielding >10% and will, at a mimum, yield 4% = Internet Bond
- ETH will become the most valuable digital asset out of those that exist currently to reflect it's status as the most valuable blockspace (cryptofees.com)
