KOSPI’s daily structure has deteriorated sharply. After repeated rejection below 7,216.62, buyers failed to defend the 6,347.41 pivot.
The index is now trading around 6,035.35 following a 5.46% sell-off. A daily close below 6,347.41 would confirm the breakdown and turn this former support into immediate resistance.
As long as KOSPI remains below 6,347.41, the bearish scenario dominates. The next downside level is 5,715.16. If that fails, the decline could extend toward the major support at 5,059.45.
For the bulls to regain control, the index must first reclaim 6,347.41 and then break back above 7,216.62. Until that happens, any rebound should be treated as a corrective bounce rather than a confirmed reversal.
