XAUUSD continues to trade within a well-defined ascending channel on the H1 timeframe, maintaining a sequence of higher highs and higher lows. The overall structure remains bullish, with buyers still controlling momentum.After breaking above a key resistance level, price expanded impulsively and left behind a visible imbalance. The current pullback appears to be a technical retracement into that zone — a typical behavior within a healthy uptrend. If this area aligns with the prior breakout level and holds as support, it would reinforce the bullish structure and increase the probability of continuation toward 5,500, near the upper boundary of the channel.
At this stage, there are no confirmed signs of reversal. A deeper correction remains a conditional scenario, valid only if price delivers a decisive close below the imbalance zone and breaks the recent higher-low structure. Until that occurs, the broader bullish framework stays intact.
The downside expectation is speculative for now — not confirmed.
