As you can see, same as Silver, Gold is also consolidating in the same range every since this week's Open. Currently Gold is being traded at $4666, above the April 7th NDOG High and below the April 6th NWOG High.
Gold is waiting for something, maybe news about war, peace treaty or a ceasefire to actually make a move.
For now, if gold keeps itself above the NWOG Consequent Encroachment and April 6th's NDOG altogether, I'd expect it to retest the NWOG High at $4676 and if it goes through, then the IFVG is waiting for it! There's also a resistance at $4706 waiting for Gold inside the Hourly IFVG, and it is the Consequent Encroachment of the gap. If it goes through this, next resistance will be at $4716 and finally at $4742.
Targets: 4680, 4690, 4700, 4710, 4720, 4730 and 4740.
However if it fails at keeping itself above the C.E. and the NDOG high, it could drop out of the NWOG and NDOG and then it'll have to go for the Liquidity below the $4616 to sweep it.
Targets: 4650, 4640, 4630 and 4620.
