Gold is currently trading between the MA50 and MA200. The MA200 continues to act as dynamic support, while the MA50 remains overhead, capping upside momentum. As long as price remains between these moving averages, we can expect range-bound price action until one side gives way.
The first level to watch this week is 4067, our immediate resistance. A clean break above this level would bring 4123 into focus. A break above the key resistance at 4123 would open the way towards 4181, our unfilled upside target from last week, with 4237 the next major resistance.
On the downside, 4029 is the immediate support to watch. Failure to hold this level would bring the support zone into focus, where we will be watching closely for price reaction. If this zone fails to hold, it would open the door for further downside into the 3926-3883 secondary support zone.
