Gold (XAUUSD) is showing a clear transition from a short-term bearish phase into a potential bullish continuation, supported by Smart Money Concepts (SMC).
After forming a breakout at the top, price entered a descending channel, respecting lower highs and lower lows. The second breakout attempt failed, leading to a sharp sell-off and confirming a Market Structure Shift (MSS) to the downside.
Price then tapped a key POI (Point of Interest) near support, where buyers stepped in aggressively. This reaction formed a higher low, followed by a Break of Structure (BOS) to the upside—signaling early bullish intent.
Currently, price is pulling back into a strong confluence zone:
H1 Order Block (refined entry)
H4 Order Block (higher timeframe support)
Ascending trendline support
This area acts as a high-probability demand zone.
Outlook:
If price holds within the H1/H4 OB zone, we can expect:
Bullish continuation toward 4,500+ and above
Potential retest of recent highs
However, a breakdown below the zone would invalidate the bullish bias and may lead to deeper retracement toward the marked support.
