M-Alpha-Trend Targets - Flip, Stop, Targets and Hit Rates

469
What it does
M-Alpha-Trend Targets marks every trend flip with an entry, a stop and three targets (1R, 2R, 3R). Next to each target it shows how often past flips on this exact chart actually reached it, and next to the stop how often a signal ended before even 1R. You see the odds of the setup on your market and timeframe, not a promise.

How it works
1. Trend: an ATR trailing band (classic Supertrend logic, ATR 10, factor 3 by default). A flip happens when price closes through the band.
2. Signal: entry = close of the flip bar, stop = the band at that moment, risk R = distance between them. Targets at 1R, 2R and 3R.
3. Judging: a signal ends when its stop is hit or the trend flips again. If stop and a target are touched in the same bar, the stop counts.
4. Statistics: the last 100 finished signals (adjustable) are counted. "Reached 2R: 22 %" means 22 of 100 past signals got there.
5. Past signals show small 1 / 2 / 3 marks where targets were reached and an x where the stop was hit.
All decisions are made on closed bars only, so nothing repaints.

How to use it
- Add it to any chart and timeframe and read the percentages before you trust a target.
- Change ATR length and factor; the hit rates update instantly, so you can see which setting fits your market.
- Two alerts: long flip and short flip.

What makes it different
- Most target tools draw levels. This one tells you how often those levels were really reached on your chart.
- Honest counting: stop first in ambiguous bars, signals that just fade out count as missed.

Limitations
- Hit rates describe the past on this chart and say nothing certain about the next signal.
- Few signals on short histories make the percentages unstable; check the signal count in the 3R label.
- No fees or slippage are included.
