Price

Price is the standalone Quarter Theory indicator. It was separated from Time so the complete price grid can be enabled or disabled independently.
Price-grid structure
Each major box is divided into:
- Major boundaries
- Half level at 50%
- Quarter levels at 25% and 75%
Major, half, and quarter levels each have independent:
- Color
- Width
- Line style
Optional labels can also be displayed with an editable offset and size.
Automatic instrument scaling
Auto mode identifies the instrument and assigns an appropriate base box size. Presets are included for major groups such as:
- Forex
- Stock-index futures
- Bitcoin and Ethereum
- Gold and silver
- Crude oil and natural gas
- Corn, wheat, soybeans, soybean meal, and soybean oil
- DAX, UK100, Nikkei, Nasdaq, Dow, Russell, and S&P products
Unrecognized instruments use an adaptive rounded price-based calculation.
Manual mode bypasses the presets and uses the exact major-box size entered by the user.
Timeframe fractal
Price automatically scales the box size by chart context:
- Above 1 hour: expanded box structure
- 15 minutes through 1 hour: standard box structure
- Below 15 minutes: reduced Entry structure
Each lower stage is one-quarter of the preceding stage. This preserves the same Quarter Theory relationship while preventing lower-timeframe charts from becoming overly crowded.
Historical box count
The “Completed boxes around active box” setting controls how many boxes are drawn above and below the active price box.
The maximum is 20 completed boxes on each side. At the maximum, the indicator can show 41 total boxes including the active box. This cap keeps the chart and indicator within reasonable visual and drawing limits.
Price is available on every chart timeframe.
