🔵 OVERVIEW

Pressure Flow Pro [Viprasol] is a trend signal indicator that fires only when four things line up on a closed bar: an EMA trend, a liquidity event at the prior range (a breakout through it, or a sweep beyond it and back), a candle-pressure test (a full body for breaks, a close in the top or bottom 40% of the bar for sweeps), and at least average volume. Every signal is graded A, B or C by a 0-100 pressure score, tagged BREAK, SWEEP or both so you can see why it fired, and drawn with an entry, an ATR-based stop and two risk-multiple targets. A compact dashboard shows the live trend, candle pressure, relative volume, the last sweep and the last signal.

It is built for intraday and swing traders who trade with the trend and want breakouts and liquidity sweeps filtered by candle body, close location and relative volume.

🔵 WHY PRESSURE AND LIQUIDITY ARE COMBINED

  • A break needs commitment. A small-bodied, low-volume close beyond the prior range shows little commitment, so breaks need a full body in the trend direction and at least average volume.
  • A sweep is a different kind of entry. When a trend pulls back far enough to take out the prior range's low (or high) and price closes back inside, the stops below that level have been run and rejected. That bar usually has a long wick and a small body, so it is judged by where it closes in its range rather than by body size.
  • The trend decides the direction. Both entry types only trade with the EMA trend, so a sweep in an uptrend can only give a BUY and a break in a downtrend can only give a SELL.
  • The grade ranks the evidence. Candle strength (the body for breaks, the rejection wick for sweeps), close location and relative volume are combined into one score, so each signal shows how its bar measured up and lower-scoring signals can be filtered out.

🔵 WHAT IS ORIGINAL

  • Two liquidity entries, each with its own pressure test: breakouts of the prior range must close with a full body in the trend direction, while sweeps of it must close back inside near the bar's extreme with the EMA stack pointing the same way. Testing a sweep bar by its body would reject almost all of them, so each entry type is judged by the bar shape that defines it.
  • One score across both: a 0-100 pressure score rates breaks by body and sweeps by rejection wick, together with close location and relative volume, and grades every signal A / B / C, so the labels, the grade filter and the alerts all use the same measure.

🔵 HOW IT WORKS

Trend, then liquidity trigger, then pressure and volume gates, then grade, cooldown and levels. Signals, sweeps and alerts are evaluated on confirmed bars only; the dashboard also reads the live bar.

1 — Trend

2 — Candle Pressure and Volume

3 — Liquidity: Break or Sweep of the Prior Range

4 — Signal Rules

Pine Script®

  • Sweep rule option: "Same as breaks" makes sweep entries pass the break rules instead (bullish trend with the close above EMA 21 and a 0.45 body). Sweep bars rarely meet those, so that setting gives almost no sweep signals.
  • Bar close only: a signal is decided when the bar closes and is never removed afterwards.

5 — Pressure Score and Grade

Pine Script®

  • Two strength measures: a breakout shows pressure through a full body, a sweep through the wick that rejected the swept level. Each entry type is scored on its own evidence, so sweeps are not marked down for their small bodies.
  • Minimum Signal Grade: show A and B (default), A only, or A, B and C (every signal). A setup filtered out by grade does not start a cooldown.
  • Label tooltip: hover a signal label to see its trigger, score, trigger, body (or rejection wick for a sweep) as a percentage of the range, where the close sits in the bar (0% = low, 100% = high), and relative volume.

6 — Entry, Stop and Targets

Pine Script®

  • Drawing: entry, stop and both targets are drawn for the latest signal with price labels, starting at the signal bar. TP1 stops with a ✓ on the bar price first reaches it, and every line stops on the bar the stop (✗) or TP2 is hit. A bar that touches both the stop and a target counts as the stop. While the trade is open the lines reach past the current bar.

7 — Dashboard

  • Trend: bullish, bearish or neutral from step 1.
  • Candle pressure: buy, sell or balanced for the current bar, with its live score and grade.
  • Volume filter: pass or low, with relative volume (for example 1.35x).
  • Last sweep / last signal: the most recent sweep and the most recent signal (with grade and trigger), each with how many bars ago. A sweep still forming on the live bar shows as FORMING until the bar closes.

🔵 KEY FEATURES

  • Two entry types: trend breakouts of the prior range and liquidity sweeps of it, each with its own pressure test
  • Pressure grade: every signal scored 0-100 from candle strength, close location and relative volume, graded A / B / C
  • Grade filter: optional minimum grade to keep only higher-scoring signals
  • Signal labels: compact BUY / SELL label with the grade; the BREAK / SWEEP trigger on hover, or on a second line in the detailed style
  • Risk levels: entry, ATR stop and two R-multiple targets with price labels
  • Cooldown: minimum spacing between signals
  • Dashboard: trend, live pressure, relative volume, last sweep and last signal
  • Alerts: six alert conditions plus BUY / SELL alerts that carry grade, trigger, entry, stop and both targets as text or JSON

🔵 HOW TO USE

Setup

  • Chart: liquid stocks, indices, forex, metals or crypto, standard candlesticks, 1m to 1D.
  • Defaults: EMA 21 / 50, lookback 20, body 0.45, volume 1.0x, cooldown 10, grades A and B shown, stop 1.2 ATR, targets 1R / 2R.

Reading the Chart

  • BUY / SELL label with a letter: a signal and its pressure grade. Hover it to see whether a BREAK or a SWEEP fired it (the detailed style prints this on a second line).
  • Aqua / fuchsia circle (off by default): with Mark Liquidity Sweeps on, every low / high sweep of the prior range is circled, including sweeps that did not pass the signal rules.
  • Level lines: entry (in the chart's text colour), stop (orange, dashed) and TP1 / TP2 for the latest signal. A ✓ or ✗ on a label marks the level that was hit, and the lines end on the bar the trade finished.
  • Blue / purple lines: the fast and slow trend EMAs.

Recommended Starting Points

  • Scalping (1m-5m): EMA 9 / 21, lookback 10-15, cooldown 10-15
  • Intraday (15m-1H): defaults
  • Swing (4H-1D): lookback 20-30, cooldown 5-8

These are starting points only. Test on historical data and adjust before trading live.

🔵 SETTINGS

  • 1 Trend: fast EMA, slow EMA, show trend EMAs.
  • 2 Candle Pressure & Volume: minimum candle body ratio, volume average, relative volume filter.
  • 3 Liquidity Break / Sweep: liquidity lookback, sweep entry rule, sweep rejection close, mark liquidity sweeps.
  • 4 Signal Filter: signal cooldown, minimum signal grade.
  • 5 Stop & Targets: ATR length, stop distance (ATR), target 1 (R), target 2 (R), level label distance, end levels at stop / target.
  • 6 Display: signal labels (compact, detailed or plain), show dashboard, dashboard position.
  • 7 Alerts: BUY / SELL alerts with levels, alert message format (Text or JSON).

🔵 ALERTS

  • BUY / SELL: any signal that passes the rules and the grade filter
  • BUY / SELL (Grade A): the chart's signals that graded A. Under the default grade filter, B signals still start the cooldown, so this alert can differ from setting Minimum Signal Grade to "A only"
  • Low / High Liquidity Sweep: every confirmed sweep of the prior range, whether or not the markers are shown
  • Any alert() function call: each BUY / SELL with grade, trigger, ticker, timeframe, entry, stop, TP1 and TP2, as text or as JSON for webhooks

All alert conditions include {{ticker}}, {{interval}} and {{close}} placeholders, and all of them are evaluated on closed bars.

🔵 LIMITATIONS & DISCLAIMER

  • Pressure is a candle proxy: the score is built from each bar's open, high, low, close and volume. It does not read tick, footprint or bid / ask data.
  • Volume quality varies: many forex and CFD feeds report tick volume, and some indices report none. Without volume the volume filter always passes and the score uses candle strength and close location only.
  • Strong trends repeat: a steady trend can make new prior-range highs again and again. The cooldown spaces these signals but does not remove them.
  • The grade is a heuristic: the weights and cut-offs are fixed design choices that describe the signal bar. They are not a validated probability of success.
  • Visual only: entry, stop and target lines are references for the latest signal, and where they end is judged from bar highs and lows, not real fills. The indicator does not place or manage trades.
  • No guarantees: past behaviour of any signal does not guarantee future results. Always use proper risk management and do your own analysis before trading.
