Consolidation Range POC

392
Consolidation Range POC adds a footprint-based volume profile to each qualified consolidation range. The main output is its point of control (POC): the price level with the greatest accumulated volume in that range. The histogram is hidden by default; use Volume Profile > Show histogram to display it.

HOW RANGES FORM
A range qualifies after the minimum number of candles satisfies the rolling high/low consolidation logic. Its start follows the latest directional swing high or low. The candle immediately before the qualifying window is included only when it is a strict left swing. Boxes use the full adjusted highs and lows of included candles. There are no major or minor classes. A close beyond the active range's prior boundary ends it before the exit candle contributes volume. A rolling-extreme pivot can also end a range, but pivot exits alone do not produce Breakout alerts.

VOLUME PROFILE AND POC
The script sums available one-tick footprint row volumes at each price level across all candles in a range. The highest-volume level becomes its POC; ties choose the lower price. A completed range's white POC line begins at its right edge and, by default, ends where the next valid POC line starts. The active range can show a short developing POC line. Display-row settings affect only the optional histogram, not the POC calculation.

LIQUIDITY LEVELS
Dotted red and green lines mark completed range highs and lows as potential liquidity levels inferred from price, not measured resting orders. An exact wick touch leaves the level active. A wick passing the level and closing back at or inside it is a sweep; a close beyond it is a break. Sweeps and breaks stop the line. Classification uses the script's adjusted candle prices and waits for candle close.

ALERTS
Consolidation Created marks a newly qualified box. Breakout Up and Breakout Down require a confirmed close beyond an active box. Range Liquidity Created marks the new high and low levels. Liquidity Level Touched, Liquidity Swept, and Liquidity Level Broken report the distinct outcomes described above. POC Touched reports the first later candle spanning a completed POC. Bullish POC Retest requires a prior close above that POC, a touch, and a close back above; Bearish POC Retest mirrors this from below. Each direction can alert once per retained POC. Bullish POC Expansion and Bearish POC Expansion require a confirmed box breakout with a valid POC; they do not depend on displacement coloring or FVG. With the default expansion mode, POC touch/retest monitoring follows the latest valid completed POC until the next one starts. Keep extending monitors all retained POCs. Users create each alert separately in TradingView.

CANDLE AND UPDATE OPTIONS
Candle Fill optionally draws one adjusted candle from the previous close to the current close, including across session gaps. Its high and low contain the adjusted body and original extremes; those values drive range boundaries and liquidity. It creates no synthetic volume. Optional Displacement colors qualifying candles yellow. Require FVG confirms a prior candle on the following candle, so the native prior bar can turn yellow afterward while its synthetic gap extension may retain its ordinary bull/bear color. The confirming signal can change before that following candle closes. On candle close limits range geometry updates to completed candles; all alerts wait for candle close.

DATA AND LIMITS
The POC uses request.footprint(1), which requires TradingView Premium or Ultimate. If any included candle lacks usable footprint rows, that range has no POC line or histogram; its box and price-derived levels can still appear. Footprint history and granularity depend on the feed and plan. Standard candles are recommended because synthetic chart types change the price structure used for detection. The script can retain up to 480 ranges with profiles hidden; showing histograms lowers that number to fit drawing limits. This tool shows range volume concentration and potential price liquidity; it makes no claim of order-book liquidity or trading performance.

ATTRIBUTION
The original consolidation detection comes from LonesomeTheBlue's open-source "Consolidation Zones - Live". Jizzany17 redesigned the consolidation behavior, including swing anchoring and breakout handling, and added per-range footprint aggregation, POC expansion, potential-liquidity levels, and gap-aware range geometry. Notas de Lançamento
Fixed Candle Fill drawing over normal candles. It now plots only a genuine untraded price gap after a candle closes, leaving the real candle body and live price line visible. Range and liquidity levels include the previous close only when it lies outside that candle's traded high-low range. Removed the redundant same-timeframe OHLC request so the fill uses chart data directly. The displacement and FVG confirmation rules are unchanged.
Notas de Lançamento
Candle Fill now bridges each completed candle's previous close to its opening price, including when that opening difference sits inside the candle's high-low range. The bridge is drawn behind the native candles, so the real bodies and live price line remain visible. This is a visual connection; the chart's OHLC data is unchanged. Range and liquidity calculations still expand only for true gaps outside the candle's high-low, and footprint volume remains actual exchange data.
