There are many indicator fans here. 🤗I thought it would be interesting for beginners to get some information on <<how to use MACD>> in practice.💥
There are many subtleties in setting up indicators, but you need to start with basic knowledge.☝🏻
Most often, MACD indicator is used to identify trading signals during sideways price movements - periods of stabilization of the rate after an increase or decrease (consolidation).
Usually, a Buy signal is considered when the MACD line (blue line in the figure) crosses the signal line (red line) upwards. A Sell signal is considered when the MACD line crosses the signal line from top to bottom.
The larger the timeframe (the time period of one chart element), the less false signals will be.
