THE POWER OF THREE
Open - manipulated higher - 1m ChoCh - then sold off aggressively
This is a textbook bearish daily Power of Three: open, fake rally, real distribution
Structure is still bullish on 10+15m - the PDL bounce could be a continuation long setup - reassess come NY AM.
- NY session swept the Equal Highs (dotted line top left) - those equal highs were the draw on liquidity (Premarket Asia High and London High were filled)
- Price tapped directly into the overhead Supply zone (7,177-7,185)
- 11:00 AM = liquidity sweep of the NY high inside supply
- That supply zone confluence with the liquidity sweep = institutional distribution point
- The blue shaded region (roughly 7:00AM-11:00AM) captures the entire NY bullish expansion leg. Clean structure: higher highs, higher lows all the way up into Supply.
THE REVERSAL
- 1m had a bearish ChoCh out of a major Supply Zone
- That drop from 11:30AM-1:30PM was aggressive all the way down into PDL and Asia Low
- Buyers clearly wanted to hold up the Higher Time Frame Structure. Swing Low was swept, but immediately closed back inside the range. This signals the bearish leg is potentially exhausted at that level. The "buyers stepping in" weren't just retail - the PDL/Swing Low sweep was smart money absorbing short positions and/or exiting longs they entered higher.
