GBPUSD is currently consolidating after a strong bullish impulsive move. Price has pulled back into the marked demand zone, making this area important for a potential continuation to the upside.
The setup is based on demand, market structure, and confirmation rather than blindly buying the zone.
Key Area: Demand Zone
The highlighted zone is where I am looking for buyers to defend price.
Price has already shown a strong bullish expansion from the lower levels, and the current pullback is bringing price back into an area where buyers may step in.
What I Need Before Entry
I am not entering immediately just because price has reached the demand zone.
I need a clear bullish pattern/confirmation inside the zone, such as:
Bullish Engulfing
Hammer / Strong Rejection Wick
Morning Star
CHOCH / Change of Character
Break of Minor Market Structure
Formation of a Higher Low
Once bullish confirmation appears, the setup becomes much more interesting for a potential long.
Trade Scenario
Demand Zone → Bullish Confirmation → Long Entry → Upside Continuation
If buyers successfully defend the zone, the first objective would be the recent swing highs, followed by the next liquidity/resistance area.
If price breaks and closes decisively below the demand zone, the bullish setup becomes invalid and I will wait for a fresh structure.
My Trading Approach
The main idea is patience.
I don't want to predict that the demand zone will hold. I want to see buyers actually respond from the zone.
My rule:
Let price come into demand → wait for bullish confirmation → then look for the long.
No bullish confirmation = No Trade.
This keeps the setup based on price action rather than emotion or anticipation.
