Today's world gold price listed on Kitco is at 2,067 USD/ounce, up 14 USD/ounce compared to early yesterday morning. A weaker dollar makes gold priced in that currency more attractive to holders of other currencies.

The main factor supporting gold is still the expectation that central banks will be more dovish in monetary policy and interest rates will decrease in the next few years. Underscoring ongoing geopolitical tensions, it is likely that gold will remain above $2,000/ounce in 2024.
