Metis Speculative Entry Engine v1

Metis Speculative Entry Engine v1 is a long-only technical approval framework designed for speculative stocks, thematic baskets, and high-volatility names where entry timing matters more than rigid valuation-based accumulation.
Unlike traditional RSI tools that rely on simple oversold/overbought readings, this engine is built around a reclaim-and-confirm model. It uses a smoothed RSI structure, an internal signal line, optional trend filters, optional weekly RSI confirmation, and optional relative volume filters to sort speculative setups into three practical states:
• EARLY — a washout reclaim or early technical improvement is emerging
• APPROVED — conditions have improved enough to justify a higher-quality speculative entry
• HIGH CONVICTION — the setup shows stronger alignment across RSI, trend, weekly strength, and volume
The goal is not to predict exact bottoms or generate automated trades. Instead, the engine is meant to function as a technical approval tool that helps determine whether a speculative name is merely oversold, beginning to repair, or showing sufficiently constructive behavior to justify action.
This makes it especially useful for:
