已更新 Buy Sell Momentum Entries v2

Momentum Entries v2 is a simple buy/sell confirmation indicator built to find strong continuation candles after momentum begins.
It is not meant to predict every move or catch every reversal. The goal is to filter for cleaner entries where price is already showing displacement, direction, and follow-through.
I personally like these settings on the 1-minute chart:
Confirmation Push Ticks: 40
Min Body %: 60
Cooldown Bars After Signal: 0
Block Same-Side Repeats: On
Fast EMA: 9
Slow EMA: 21
Use Fast EMA Filter: On
Use Slow EMA Filter: On
Require Fast EMA Above/Below Slow EMA: On
You can adjust the settings however you like depending on your market, timeframe, and trading style.
Important settings:
Confirmation Push Ticks:
How far price must push in the signal direction before a buy or sell can appear. Higher = fewer signals, stronger momentum required.
Min Body %:
Requires the candle body to be a certain percentage of the full candle range. Higher = stronger candles only.
Cooldown Bars After Signal:
Stops the indicator from giving another signal for a set number of bars after a signal. Higher = fewer signals.
Block Same-Side Repeats:
Prevents repeated buy-after-buy or sell-after-sell signals. This helps keep the chart cleaner.
Fast EMA Length:
The shorter EMA used for direction and trend confirmation.
Slow EMA Length:
The longer EMA used to confirm broader direction.
Use Fast / Slow EMA Filter:
Requires price to be on the correct side of the selected EMA before a signal appears.
Require Fast EMA Above/Below Slow EMA:
For buys, the fast EMA must be above the slow EMA.
For sells, the fast EMA must be below the slow EMA.
This helps avoid taking signals against the short-term trend.
Best use:
Use this as an entry confirmation tool, not a full trading system by itself. It works best when combined with your own levels, market structure, sweep areas, support/resistance, or higher-timeframe bias.

版本注释
NQ Momentum Entries is a rule-based intraday momentum indicator designed for NQ on the 1-minute chart. The indicator looks for continuation candles where price is already showing displacement, directional strength, and alignment with the short-term trend. It is not designed to predict tops or bottoms, and it does not attempt to signal every market move.
Its purpose is to filter for cleaner momentum entries after price begins moving decisively.
How signals are calculated
A buy or sell signal requires several conditions to align on a confirmed candle.
Previous-candle break
For a buy, the candle must close above the previous candle’s high.
For a sell, the candle must close below the previous candle’s low.
This confirms that price has moved beyond the previous candle’s full range rather than only moving within it.
Confirmation push
The current candle must also travel a configurable minimum distance from the previous candle’s close.
For buys, the candle’s high must reach the selected number of ticks above the previous close.
For sells, the candle’s low must reach the selected number of ticks below the previous close.
This prevents small breaks from being treated the same as stronger momentum expansion.
Candle-body strength
The candle body is measured as a percentage of its complete high-to-low range.
A higher minimum body percentage requires the candle to close with less opposing wick and stronger directional control.
For example, a 60% minimum body setting means the candle body must represent at least 60% of the candle’s total range.
EMA position filters
The indicator includes separate fast and slow EMA filters.
For a buy:
Price can be required to close above the fast EMA.
Price can be required to close above the slow EMA.
The fast EMA can be required to remain above the slow EMA.
For a sell, the conditions are reversed.
These filters help avoid momentum signals that are moving against the selected short-term trend structure.
Signal spacing
The indicator includes two signal-control features.
Cooldown bars
After a valid raw momentum event occurs, the indicator waits for the configured number of bars before allowing another signal.
This reduces clusters of signals during the same short burst of movement.
Same-side repeat blocking
When enabled, the indicator prevents consecutive signals in the same direction.
After a buy, the next eligible signal must be a sell before another buy can appear. The reverse applies after a sell.
This creates a cleaner chart and prevents repeated entries from appearing during one directional leg.
Session filter
Signals can be restricted to a configurable trading session and timezone.
The default session is:
9:30 AM to 12:30 PM New York time
The momentum state is calculated independently from the visible session filter. This prevents historical signal placement from changing simply because the user adjusts the displayed session hours.
Confirmed-candle behavior
Signals appear only after the candle closes.
This means a signal does not appear intrabar and then disappear before the candle is complete. The final signal is based on confirmed price information.
Default settings
Confirmation Push Ticks: 40
Minimum Body: 60%
Cooldown Bars After Signal: 10
Block Same-Side Repeats: On
Fast EMA: 9
Slow EMA: 21
Fast EMA Filter: On
Slow EMA Filter: On
Require EMA Trend Alignment: On
Trade Session: 9:30 AM–12:30 PM New York time
How to use
Apply the indicator to an NQ 1-minute chart.
Wait for a confirmed BUY or SELL label.
Use the signal as momentum confirmation rather than as a complete trading system by itself.
Combine signals with market structure, liquidity levels, support and resistance, session context, or a separate risk-management plan.
Increase Confirmation Push Ticks or Minimum Body % for fewer but stronger signals.
Reduce those values for more frequent signals.
Increase Cooldown Bars to reduce repeated signals during fast movement.
Alerts
Alert conditions are included for:
Momentum Buy
Momentum Sell
Alerts trigger only when the final confirmed signal conditions are satisfied.
Limitations
This indicator measures continuation momentum using price action and EMA alignment. It does not account for volume, order flow, economic news, liquidity conditions, or higher-timeframe structure unless the trader evaluates those separately.
Momentum signals can appear near the end of a move, during false breakouts, or before sharp reversals. The indicator does not include an automatic stop loss, take profit, position sizing, or profitability guarantee.
