**Squeeze Pulse - Volatility Compression & Momentum**
Squeeze Pulse shows when price is coiling up (low volatility) and which direction momentum is building. Markets alternate between quiet compression and explosive expansion. This indicator helps you spot the compression phase and watch for the breakout.
**How it works**
1. **Squeeze detection:** Bollinger Bands are compared with a Keltner Channel. When the Bollinger Bands move inside the Keltner Channel, volatility is compressed (squeeze ON). When they move back outside, the squeeze has been released (squeeze OFF).
2. **Momentum histogram:** a linear regression of price against the midpoint of the recent high/low range and a moving average. It shows the direction and strength of the move building under the squeeze.
**Reading the indicator**
*Dots on the zero line (squeeze state)*
- 🟠 **Amber:** squeeze ON, volatility is compressed
- 🔵 **Blue:** squeeze OFF, volatility has been released
- ⚪ **Gray:** neutral, neither condition
*Histogram colors (momentum)*
- **Bright teal:** positive and rising (bullish momentum strengthening)
- **Dark teal:** positive but fading
- **Bright rose:** negative and falling (bearish momentum strengthening)
- **Dark rose:** negative but recovering
**Typical use**
Wait for a run of amber dots, then watch for the first blue dot. The side of zero the histogram is on at that moment, and whether it is growing, hints at the likely direction of the breakout. Confirm with your own analysis such as trend, structure and volume.

**Notes**
- This is a volatility and momentum tool, not a standalone buy/sell system.
- A squeeze release shows that volatility is expanding, but it does not guarantee the direction or follow-through of the move.
- Based on the widely known squeeze momentum concept (Bollinger Bands inside Keltner Channels), rebuilt in Pine Script v5 with updated visuals and alerts.
