Absorption Detector Pro
What it does:
Finds candles where a lot of volume traded but price barely moved — a sign big buyers or sellers quietly absorbed the other side.
What you'll see: A green triangle under a candle means buyers absorbed selling. A red triangle above a candle means sellers absorbed buying. The candle also gets a faint colored background.
The 4 settings:
Lookback — how many past candles it compares against (default 20)
Volume Spike Multiplier — how much bigger than normal volume needs to be (default 1.5x)
Max Range vs Average — how small the candle's range must be (default 0.7x, so tighter than usual)
Close-in-range threshold — how close the close must be to the top or bottom of the candle (default 0.65)
If you want more signals: lower the Volume Multiplier or raise the Range setting.
If you want fewer, stronger signals: raise the Volume Multiplier or lower the Range setting.
That's really it — big volume + small range + strong close = absorption.
