CA Range Break Evidence Map

Designed on BTCUSDT 4H ; levels based on price structure as of 21 Oct 2026, read from the current chart. The logic is symbol-agnostic.
What it shows: consolidation ranges detected from the chart's own data, and a grade for every move outside them: sweep, pending break, confirmed break, failed break or weak break. A confirmed break needs accumulated, volatility-scaled evidence, not just one close past the edge. When a clearly narrower range forms inside an active one, it replaces it, so the tool follows the range that is actually in play.
Method: range = rolling high/low over 30 bars whose edges stayed unchanged for 6+ bars, width 2–6 ATR(14) and efficiency ratio ≤ 0.35 (choppy, two-sided trade). Evidence = two-sided CUSUM on close-to-close changes standardised by an EWMA volatility estimate (length 50, drift allowance k = 0.5σ, threshold h = 2.5σ). Volume pressure (14) = volume-weighted candle-body direction, shown as context or used as an optional filter.
How it reads the design chart: an active range of roughly 80.4k–84.3k since 8–9 Oct, with two downside sweeps near 79.9k–80k on 15 Oct that closed back inside. Price sits in the upper part of the range with little upside evidence so far. A close above ~84.4k would only open a pending break; a single-bar confirmed break would need a close near ~84.6k (the level is recalculated every bar). The mirror level on the downside is near ~80.3k. The previous late-September range ended as a weak break up: price held above the edge without building evidence before the early-October selloff.
Signals and alerts: every state change happens on a closed bar. The range box is drawn back to the start of its qualifying window when the range is detected. Alerts are available for range formed, sweeps, pending, confirmed and failed breaks.
