Polymarket Helper
The indicator measures this through Intrabar Volume Delta (IVD) — a real-time calculation of buying versus selling pressure built from sub-minute tick data. When buyers dominate the first 25 seconds, the candle tends to close green. When sellers dominate, it tends to close red. The IVD is weighted with exponential decay so that the most recent ticks carry more influence than older ones, reducing noise from early random fluctuations.
IVD alone is not enough. PLY Helper cross-validates it with three additional layers: OBV momentum (is the cumulative volume trend accelerating in the same direction?), Delta Volume (is the net buy/sell flow confirming the bias?), and 1m/3m timeframe convergence (are shorter timeframes pointing the same way?). When all four agree, the signal is classified as Strong. When three agree, Moderate. When fewer agree or they contradict each other, the indicator shows CONFLICT and no trade should be taken.
The indicator also tracks OBV Hidden Divergence — a situation where price and volume momentum disagree. A red candle with rising OBV is a hidden bullish signal, suggesting sellers are losing control. A green candle with falling OBV is a hidden bearish signal, suggesting the move is running out of fuel. These divergences often precede sharp reversals and are worth noting even when the main signal disagrees.
Finally, IVD readings are compared against a 10-candle rolling average baseline rather than the previous candle alone. This prevents false signals during unusually quiet or unusually active periods — a reading of 65% buy pressure means something very different when the average is 50% versus 62%.
How to Use
Wait for a new 5-minute candle to open. The table will count up from zero and display a countdown: Signal in 18s, 10s, 5s... At 25 seconds, the signal fires. If it shows GREEN STRONG or GREEN MODERATE with CONFIRMED status and IVD Momentum rising or surging, enter Up on Polymarket immediately. If it shows RED with the same conditions, enter Down. If it shows CONFLICT, WEAK, or the IVD Momentum contradicts the direction, skip the candle
