Rebound V-Fib RT
A lightweight, real-time variant of Rebound V-Fib for normal (linear) price charts. It draws the slanted V-Fib, support line, V-Ladder and baseball runner, marks trend entries, and exposes trend/support readouts - fast enough for second-scale charts and the Pine Screener.
For US equities on intraday/daily timeframes. Adjust 'Trading hours per day' for other markets (default 6.5).
Drawing-focused: there is no back-test, technical rating, support/exit signal, trailing stop, or lower-timeframe request. Trend geometry and rates update every bar; support detection and all drawing run on the last bar. Signals and drawings update on the live bar and confirm at close (they repaint intrabar) - for confirmed-only entry alerts, choose "Once Per Bar Close".

DIFFERENCES FROM Rebound V-Fib
- Adds the V-Ladder (key Fib levels along the support direction) and the baseball runner (emoji marking how far price has run up the ladder)
- Trend entry is shown as a single entry-bar background tint plus an alert, computed from the live bar's rates / V-Fib / lead - no back-test, no support entry, no exit, no trailing stop
- Detection works before a full Lookback bars of history exists, so it draws on short histories and in Bar Replay
- Tuned for real-time use and Pine Screener filtering rather than historical simulation
OUTPUTS
Overlay:
- Slanted Fib band (multi-colored levels), blue uptrend line, purple support diagonal
- V-Ladder - purple key levels (0.236 / 0.5 / 1.0 / 1.618 / 2.272 / 3.0) between the previous and current support
- Baseball runner - emoji above the first bar that reached each V-Ladder level
- V-Fib Ratio label on the last bar
- Entry-bar background tint (blue) when a trend entry is marked
Status line + Data Window + Screener:
- V-Fib - current V-Fib Ratio (position on the slanted Fib band; the value equals the Fib level number)
- V-Trend - net rate (Up + Down), %/day
- Sup%/d - support slope, %/day
Data Window + Screener:
- Age - bars since the current trend entry (0 when not in a setup). Recommended Pine Screener filter: Age 1 ~ 7
- SupAge - days since the current support line was established
- SupLead% - close above support, as % of close
- Lead% - leading days x uptrend rate. Leading days = days the current price is ahead of / behind the uptrend baseline
- Up%/d, Down%/d - trend slopes, %/day
Note: Pine Screener is limited to 500 bars of history; the support readouts (SupAge, Sup%/d, SupLead%) are computed on the last bar only.
INPUTS
General:
- Lookback bars - V-shape detection window
- Trading hours per day - intraday day-to-bar conversion for the %/day readouts (6.5 = US equities)
Trend detection:
- Min downtrend bars / Min uptrend bars - minimum bars from top to V-bottom / from V-bottom to now
Trend entry:
- Min uptrend rate - reject if uptrend slope is below this (%/day)
- Max downtrend rate - reject if downtrend slope exceeds this (typically <= 0)
- Min V-Trend - reject if Up + Down rate is below this
- Min / Max entry V-Fib - lower / upper bound of the entry window on the slanted Fib band
- Min entry leading gain - minimum Lead% required at entry
- Unlock V-Fib - re-arm the entry once V-Fib rises past this (one signal per setup)
Display:
- Show baseball runner - toggle the V-Ladder emoji
- Show trend entry - toggle the entry-bar background tint
