Inventories vs. Revenue

441
What the indicator does:

Both values (Inventories & Revenue) are normalized to an index of 100 – meaning the starting value from 5 years ago is 100. This allows for a direct comparison of the two figures despite their different units (millions/billions), and you can immediately see their relative development.

The red background appears whenever inventories have increased in the current quarter compared to the previous quarter while revenue has decreased, or inventories have remained the same while revenue has decreased, or inventories have increased while revenue has stagnated. A change is assumed to have a delta of 2% compared to the previous value.
