Tale of Two Fibs (by Two)
First there was this Blue Fib.
It was born at bottom of a pit.
It had a strong heart with rhythm.
Then came the Green Fib.
It was born in Blue Fib's lap.
It had strong legs with energy.
Then came the Purple Fib.
Born from Blue and Green.
It had an OK start in life.
Then came the Golden Fib.
Born of three sets of Genes.
It had wings with great span.
Did Golden fib fly too close to the sun?
Did Purple Green Blue not warn him?
Did the sun melt the wings into liquid?
Every Fib gave what it had.
Every push was with intent.
Every journey has an end.
Unless God lends a hand.
Unless Lee leaks a story.
Unless SEC launches ETF.
This story has but a little left.
This family picture will remain.
This species will thrive but later.
40 was and is but evolutionary.
40 will be remembered fondly.
40 will come again if only finally.
