MEGA was down 48% from the first daily bearish signal after TGE into the final day of the most recent daily downtrend signal. Eight bars, on schedule, signal done.
Today it's up ~+11.09% on 355M volume, the largest bar of the entire markdown. This is the response candle: the seller's clock runs out on the bar the framework said it would, and demand shows up on the biggest volume of the sequence.
Sign of strength.
The daily trend is still technically down. But this is how markdowns actually end. With a fat green volume bar after the last signal expires. A new 5-bar low could be forming since the bottom. The base is being built.
For anyone with a multi-year horizon, this is a low-risk accumulation zone. MEGA here is a liquid venture bet, not a swing trade. I'm here for the cycle re-rate, not the bounce. Re-rates usually begin while the chart still looks broken to everyone else. Spot and staking do the work in the meantime. If you want to size up, add when we get a bullish signal in the daily. Otherwise let the yield compound through the base.
Invalidation: a range expansion to the downside penetrating into new lows. Lose that and the bottom call is wrong; wait for the next setup.
