MetaDao, a Solana-based fundraising and governance platform that implements Futarchy, a model where decisions are made through prediction markets rather than traditional token-weighted voting.
Futarchy is a proposed form of government introduced by economist Robin Hanson in 2000, operating under the motto "Vote on Values, But Bet on Beliefs." In this system, democratic processes are used to define specific metrics of national welfare (such as GDP or health outcomes), while prediction markets determine which policies will most effectively improve those metrics.
