SHADDAI314 PDH PDL PDC - Daily Weekly Hourly
This indicator was built to solve a very practical trading problem: key price levels from previous sessions are invisible by default on TradingView, and manually drawing them every day wastes time and introduces human error.
What it does
It automatically plots the Previous Day High (PDH), Previous Day Low (PDL), and Previous Day Close (PDC) on your chart, and optionally the same levels for the previous week and previous hour. These levels matter because institutional traders, algorithms, and smart money consistently react to them — they act as natural support, resistance, and liquidity targets.
Why these specific levels
PDH and PDL mark where buyers and sellers stopped the market the day before. Price often returns to test those zones, either to break through them (continuation) or to reject them (reversal). PDC tells you where the market agreed to settle, which sets the directional bias for the next session — trading above it is generally bullish, below it bearish.
The highlight and alerts
The candle highlight distinguishes between a wick touch and a body close. A wick touch means price briefly tested the level but got rejected — useful for spotting stop hunts and liquidity grabs. A body close means the market actually accepted prices beyond that level — a stronger signal. Having both visually separated on the chart saves you from misreading the strength of a move in real time.
Why build it instead of using an existing one
Most free indicators on TradingView show only daily levels, have no toggle controls, or mix all timeframes in a confusing way. This one gives you daily, weekly, and hourly in a single script with clean on/off checkboxes per group, so you can adapt it to whatever session or strategy you're running without cluttering the chart.
