Liquidity Sweep & Stop-Hunt Signals [ForexCracked]

🔵 OVERVIEW
Liquidity Sweep & Stop-Hunt Signals marks the price levels where stop orders pile up, detects the moment price runs those stops and reverses, and prints a BUY or SELL with a ready-made entry, stop and target. It is a focused reversal tool built around one of the most reliable behaviours in the market: the failed breakout.
Every signal confirms on candle close, so nothing repaints after the bar is done. A live dashboard shows the higher-timeframe bias, the last signal, and the current trade plan.
🔵 WHAT A LIQUIDITY SWEEP ACTUALLY IS
Stops cluster in obvious places: just above a recent swing high (buy-side liquidity) and just below a recent swing low (sell-side liquidity). Price is often drawn to those pools because that is where resting orders sit.
A sweep, or stop hunt, happens when price spikes through one of those swings, triggers the stops, and then closes back inside the range on the same candle. Breakout traders get trapped, and the reversal that follows is the trade this tool is built to catch.
🔵 HOW IT FINDS SIGNALS
• It tracks recent swing highs and lows as liquidity lines and keeps them on the chart until they are taken
• A SELL fires when a candle's high runs above a tracked swing high but its close falls back below it (buy-side liquidity swept, then rejected)
• A BUY fires when a candle's low runs below a tracked swing low but its close climbs back above it (sell-side liquidity swept, then rejected)
• An optional rejection-body filter ignores weak wicks and only accepts sweeps that close with a real body back inside the level
• An optional higher-timeframe EMA bias lets you take only trend-aligned sweeps, only counter-trend sweeps, or all of them
🔵 THE TRADE PLAN IT DRAWS
On every signal the tool draws three lines and labels them:
• Entry at the close of the sweep candle
• Stop just beyond the swept wick, with an ATR buffer so normal noise does not clip it
• Target at your chosen reward-to-risk multiple of that stop distance
You get a complete plan on the chart the moment a signal prints, with the exact prices in the label.
🔵 SETTINGS
• Swing Strength: how major a swing must be to count as liquidity (higher = fewer, cleaner levels)
• Levels Tracked: how many liquidity lines to keep per side
• Trend Filter: All sweeps, HTF trend only, or Counter-HTF only
• HTF Bias Timeframe and EMA Length: the higher-timeframe trend reference
• Require Rejection Body and Min Rejection Body (x ATR): quality filter for the sweep candle
• Stop Buffer (x ATR) and Reward : Risk: the trade-plan geometry
🔵 HOW TO USE
• Start on H1 or H4 for forex, gold and indices, with the HTF bias set one or two steps higher
• Treat a swept level plus a strong rejection close as the signal, not the wick alone
• Use Counter-HTF only when you want pure reversal setups at range extremes, and HTF trend only when you want continuation entries after a stop-run against the trend
• Size every trade off the drawn stop distance at a fixed account risk
• Raise Swing Strength on noisy pairs so only the meaningful liquidity gets tracked
🔵 BEST AND WEAKEST CONDITIONS
✅ Strongest at range extremes, session highs and lows, and around prior day or week highs and lows, where liquidity genuinely rests
⚠️ Weakest in fast one-way trends with no pullbacks, and on very low timeframes where every wick looks like a sweep
⚠️ DISCLAIMER
This tool identifies liquidity sweeps and marks reversal setups. It does not predict price. A swept level is a probability, not a certainty, and sweeps can extend further before reversing. Results depend on market conditions, settings, and your own execution and risk management. Shared for educational and research purposes; not financial advice.

Versionshinweise
v1.1: fixes, plus a record of how past plans endedWHAT CHANGED
• HTF bias: the two filter modes now read the last completed higher-timeframe bar on every candle. In v1.0, live candles read the still-forming HTF bar while chart history read completed bars, so a filtered signal could appear or vanish after a reload. Signals in the default "All sweeps" mode were not affected.
• The HTF Bias Timeframe must be a whole multiple above the chart timeframe (for example 4h on a 1h chart). If it is not, the two filter modes print nothing and the dashboard says so. With the default 240 (4h), H4 and higher charts need a higher setting.
• Levels: any candle that trades through a level now removes it. If the close comes back to the other side, the level was swept; if the close stays beyond, it was broken and gives no signal. A candle that breaks one level while sweeping another on the same side gives no signal on that side. In v1.0 a level that price had closed through stayed on the chart and could fire on a later retest.
• Rejection body: with "Require Rejection Body" on, a SELL now needs a bearish candle and a BUY a bullish one, with a body of at least the set ATR size. v1.0 checked the size alone.
• A candle that qualifies as both a BUY and a SELL, which needs the body filter off, now prints nothing and sends no alert. v1.0 printed both labels, fired both alerts and drew the BUY plan.
• Plan prices are rounded to the symbol's tick, and hovering a BUY or SELL label shows its entry, stop and target. The plan label now sits to the left of the plan's end, clear of the price scale.
• "Enable Alerts" now switches the alerts (in v1.0 it did nothing). An alert keeps the settings and the script version it was created with, so delete and re-create any alert set before this update to get v1.1. A new alert() message carries the plan prices: pick "Any alert() function call" when you create the alert.
• Dashboard: new rows for BUY plans, SELL plans and plans still in their window. Last Signal shows how many bars ago it printed. Last Plan shows entry, stop and target, also when the plan lines are hidden. HTF Bias shows "-" when price sits on the EMA or the EMA has no value yet.
NEW: OUTCOME RECORD
• Each plan is followed from the next candle. Whichever price is touched first, the stop or the target, is added to its signal label with the bars it took, for example "BUY → stop 6b" or "SELL → target 14b". Neither inside the Outcome Window (default 100 bars) is recorded as neither.
• A candle that touches both the stop and the target is recorded as stop first, unless it opened beyond the target.
• The dashboard prints the record per side in the form "target first T/n (P%) · stop first S · neither N", where n = T + S + N. Below the minimum sample (default 20) it prints just the sample size, as "n=7 (<20)".
• A plan is counted when its Outcome Window ends, however it ended, so quick outcomes are not counted ahead of slow ones, and plans from the last window of history are not counted yet.
• The record is kept on standard bar and candle charts. On Heikin Ashi, Renko and other synthetic chart types the dashboard says it is not recorded.
• These are touches on the chart's own prices over the history loaded on your chart, with no spread or slippage. They describe past plans. They do not predict the next one.
CORRECTIONS TO THE ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION
• The script cannot see stop orders and does not confirm a reversal. It marks confirmed swing highs and lows and flags a closed candle that trades through one and closes back on the other side.
• The overview's line about how well failed breakouts work was never measured. Nor were "Price is often drawn to those pools", "the reversal that follows", the ATR buffer keeping normal noise off the stop, or the best and weakest conditions list: read them as the author's view. The outcome record now shows how past plans on your own chart ended, including how often the stop was touched before the target.
• "nothing repaints after the bar is done" held for the default mode alone; in v1.0 the HTF filter modes could change after a reload. Fixed in v1.1. A swing still registers Swing Strength bars after it forms, and its line is drawn back to the swing bar.
• Levels: see above. A level also leaves the chart when newer swings push it past the Levels Tracked limit (oldest dropped first).
• The stop sits beyond the sweep candle's own high or low, plus the ATR buffer.
• The chart keeps the latest plan's lines. Earlier plans keep their signal label, with the outcome added.
• The original dashboard showed the last entry price, not the full plan.
