PFK Key Levels

What It Does
PFK Key Levels draws the reference prices many intraday traders mark by hand every morning: the daily open, yesterday's high and low, the last session's open, the opening range, nearby round numbers, and any prices you add yourself. It builds them into one map on the right side of the chart, merges levels that sit on top of each other, highlights the level closest to price, and lists the nearest levels above and below in a small dashboard.
What sets it apart is that every level family lives in one map instead of separate overlays: overlapping levels collapse into a single label with a heavier line, the closest level is highlighted, and the dashboard ranks what sits above and below price. The goal is a clean chart that answers one question at a glance: where are the next levels, and how far away are they?
How It Works
Each enabled level is collected into a single list, rounded to the symbol's tick size, and drawn from the last bar. Five families are available, each with its own color:
Confluence and the Nearest Level
When two or more levels sit within a small, volatility-scaled distance of each other, they share one label (for example "Daily Open + Major Psych | x2") and the line is drawn thicker. The daily, weekly, and session opens, the previous day's high, low, and close, the opening range, and custom levels also draw a slightly heavier line, so the prices most traders watch stand out without extra settings.
The level closest to the current price is recolored with the highlight color and its label is prefixed with NEAREST. Every label can show the level's price and its distance from price in points.

Dashboard
A compact panel (position and size adjustable) lists the two nearest levels in each direction:
Merged levels show as one row with up to three of their names. The dashboard and labels detect a dark or light chart and adjust their colors.

Methodology & Limitations
Previous-period levels (previous day, week, month, and session) come from completed periods, so they do not change once the new period starts. Opens are fixed at the start of their period. The current day high/low, the opening range while it forms, the distances, and the NEAREST highlight update live with price.
Levels are drawn from the last bar as a map of the current reference prices. The lines reach back a set number of bars for readability; they do not show where each level sat in the past and are not a record of past reactions.
On charts with no bars after the session close, such as stocks with extended hours off, previous-session levels roll over at the next session open. Session and opening range levels need an intraday chart, and the opening range can only be as precise as the chart's bar size. Weekly and monthly levels can sit far from price, and turning many of them on will zoom the price scale out. This script has no alerts and does not generate buy or sell signals.

How It Works
Each enabled level is collected into a single list, rounded to the symbol's tick size, and drawn from the last bar. Five families are available, each with its own color:
- Daily: Daily Open, Previous Day High, Previous Day Low, Previous Day Close, and the running Current Day High/Low. Daily values follow the symbol's own daily session, so futures and FX roll at their usual daily open.
- Weekly / Monthly: Weekly and Monthly Open, plus the previous week's and month's high, low, and close. All off by default to keep the chart focused on the current day.
- Session: The open, close, high, and low of the most recently completed Key Session (default 09:30-16:00 New York time, daylight saving aware), plus an optional opening range for the first N minutes of the current session.
- Psychological: Round numbers near price. In Auto mode the major step is picked from the symbol's price, about 2% of price snapped to a 1, 2, or 5 step, and split into quarters or fifths for the minor steps (for example 100.00 and 25.00 on XAUUSD). Major levels only appear near price, inside the minor levels shown or within a set share of a step, so distant round numbers never squeeze the chart. Steps can also be set manually.
- Custom: Up to eight of your own prices, each with its own label.

Display Modes
- Magnet Map: Each level gets a line plus a soft zone above and below it. The zone width scales with ATR(14), with a minimum size in ticks, and brightens when price is inside it.
- Clean Lines: Lines and labels only, no zones.
- Labels Only: Just the labels on the right edge, for charts that already carry other drawings.
Dashboard
A compact panel (position and size adjustable) lists the two nearest levels in each direction:
- Resistance Above: The two closest levels above price, with distance and price
- Support Below: The two closest levels below price, with distance and price
Merged levels show as one row with up to three of their names. The dashboard and labels detect a dark or light chart and adjust their colors.
How to Use
- Add the indicator to an intraday chart. The default set (Daily Open, Previous Day High/Low, Previous Session Open, and round numbers) is a good starting point
- Set the Key Session and time zone to the session you trade, for example 08:00-16:30 Europe/London
- Turn on the weekly, monthly, or opening range levels you use, and add your own prices under Custom Levels
- Use the dashboard to see how much room there is to the next level before planning a trade
- Treat a merged label (x2, x3) as a price where several references agree
Settings Summary
- Daily Levels: Daily Open, Previous Day High/Low/Close, Current Day High/Low
- Weekly / Monthly Levels: Weekly and Monthly Open, previous week and month High/Low/Close
- Session Levels: Key Session and time zone, previous session Open/Close/High/Low, opening range on/off and length in minutes
- Psychological Levels: Major and minor on/off, Auto or Manual steps, minor count each side, how close price must be before a major level shows
- Custom Levels: Eight prices with on/off and label
- Overlays: Display mode, line history and right projection length, price and distance in labels, label merging
- Dashboard: On/off, position, size
- Colors: One color per level family, highlight and label text colors, line style and width, label size, zone width as % of ATR and minimum zone ticks
