MaidongOrderBlockDrawing
Maidong Order Block Drawing is a Pine Script library built to handle the full visual lifecycle of order blocks, including rendering, forward extension, mitigation handling, and optional breaker block conversion.
It is designed to work alongside separate detection or refinement modules. Once a script provides the order block type, boundaries, origin index, and mitigation settings, this library takes care of drawing and managing the zone directly on the chart.
Core features:
- Supports both `Demand` and `Supply` order blocks
- Extends active zones forward while they remain valid
- Supports mitigation by `Proximal`, `Distal`, or `50 % OB`
- Can convert mitigated order blocks into breaker blocks
- Returns mitigation events and breaker block metadata for downstream logic
This library is useful when:
- You already detect order blocks in another script or module
- You want a reusable drawing engine for zone lifecycle management
- You want consistent order block behavior across multiple indicators
