[dng]_time_range
Highlights a chosen time range on every trading day, such as a session open or a killzone.
Display modes
- Rectangle: spans from the start time to the end time, with its top and bottom at the highest high and lowest low inside the range. It updates live while the range is in progress.
- Vertical lines: marks the start and end of the range with two vertical lines.
- Single line: turn off "Use end time" to mark only the start time with one vertical line.
Settings
- Time range: start and end time. Overnight ranges like 22:00–02:00 work.
- Timezone: a GMT offset (GMT+1, GMT-5, GMT+0530) or a city timezone (Europe/Berlin). City timezones adjust for daylight saving time automatically.
- Colors: rectangle background and vertical lines.
Notes
- Use the Visibility tab to choose which timeframes it shows on.
- The end line and the rectangle's right edge appear as soon as the range starts, so you can see where it will end.
- The single line appears from the first bar of the day, before the start time arrives.
- Days with no bars at the start time, such as weekends or a Sunday-evening open, are skipped.
