Options Flow Narrative [ZOM]

Options Flow Narrative is an educational framework designed to approximate how dealers, hedging flows, volatility positioning, and sentiment alignment can influence price behavior.
The script combines three concepts into one simplified narrative model:
- Delta sentiment proxy (buying vs selling pressure)
- Gamma-style support/resistance zones around VWAP
- VIX alignment for broader volatility confirmation
The goal is not to replicate institutional options data directly, because TradingView does not provide full real-time options chain exposure, dealer positioning, dark pool inventory, or true market-wide gamma calculations. Instead, this indicator uses price, volume, VWAP, volatility expansion, and VIX behavior to build a probabilistic narrative framework that traders can interpret visually.
Bullish conditions occur when:
- buying pressure strengthens,
- volatility softens,
- and price reclaims projected support zones.
Bearish conditions occur when:
- selling pressure strengthens,
- volatility expands,
- and price rejects projected resistance zones.
The shaded zones represent volatility-adjusted “gamma wall” approximations around VWAP. These are not true institutional gamma levels and should not be interpreted as exact dealer positioning. They are modeled zones intended to help visualize potential reaction areas where liquidity, hedging behavior, or mean reversion may occur.
Narrative labels appear only when multiple conditions align:
- Delta sentiment
- VIX momentum
- Price interaction with projected zones
Narrative Ribbon (The "Bias"):
At the very bottom of your chart, there is now a continuous Bias Ribbon. This allows you to see the "Delta + Vanna" sentiment at a glance without cluttering your price action.
- Green: Full Bullish Alignment (Delta Bull + VIX Falling).
- Red: Full Bearish Alignment (Delta Bear + VIX Rising).
- Blue: Neutral/Divergent.
Because TradingView has limited access to real options flow, dealer inventory, and exchange-level positioning data, this script should be viewed as an approximation tool rather than a direct representation of institutional order flow.
This indicator is best used alongside:
- market structure,
- higher timeframe context,
- liquidity analysis,
- VWAP,
- volume profile,
- or broader volatility studies.
No indicator can fully predict market direction, and all signals can fail during strong trend expansion, news events, or abnormal volatility conditions.
Built primarily for educational and analytical purposes.
Not financial advice.
