GBPJPY remains inside a well-defined ascending channel and is currently pulling back toward a key support zone after the latest bullish impulse. This area has previously attracted buyers and now aligns with the lower boundary of the channel, making it an important level to watch for trend continuation.
If buyers successfully defend this support, the broader uptrend could resume with a reasonable target around 221.500. On the other hand, a decisive break below the support zone would weaken the bullish structure and increase the risk of a deeper correction.
I'll be watching for bullish confirmation before considering the continuation scenario. A strong rejection from support, bullish candlestick patterns such as an engulfing candle or pin bar, and sustained trading above the channel support would all strengthen the case for another move higher.
