ICT First Presented & Reflection FVG [TradeSymmetry]

Overview
The TradeSymmetry First Presented & Reflection Fair Value Gap Engine automates the identification, mapping, and Consequent Encroachment (C.E.) tracking of the two most critical institutional imbalances formed during session open:
Core Concepts & Mechanics
1. First Presented FVG (1st P. FVG)
When the session window opens (default 09:30 AM New York Equities Open), price frequently expands to rebalance liquidity. The engine captures the very first valid 3-candle imbalance:
2. The Reflection FVG (Mirror Imbalance)
Institutional order flow often seeks liquidity by testing both sides of the market. Once the 1st Presented FVG forms, any counter-displacement creates an opposing Fair Value Gap. This "Reflection FVG" acts as a magnet and prime institutional mitigation zone.
3. Consequent Encroachment (C.E.)
Rather than reacting to the outer boundary of the gap, institutional algorithms routinely seek the exact 50% midpoint of the imbalance (Consequent Encroachment). The indicator plots a precision midline with reference tags for both the 1st FVG and the Reflection FVG.

The TradeSymmetry First Presented & Reflection Fair Value Gap Engine automates the identification, mapping, and Consequent Encroachment (C.E.) tracking of the two most critical institutional imbalances formed during session open:
- First Presented Fair Value Gap (1st P. FVG): The initial liquidity imbalance (BISI or SIBI) printed as the session opens and establishes directional bias.
- First Presented Reflection Fair Value Gap (1st P. Reflection FVG): The critical opposite imbalance formed after the initial FVG.
- If the 1st FVG is Bullish (BISI), the Reflection FVG is the subsequent first Bearish (SIBI) imbalance.
- If the 1st FVG is Bearish (SIBI), the Reflection FVG is the subsequent first Bullish (BISI) imbalance.
- Consequent Encroachment (C.E. 50% Midline): Automatic mathematical equilibrium line calculation with optional exact price reference (0.5 (Price)).
- Session Open Price Benchmark: Dynamic reference level tracking session opening auction price (e.g., 09:30 NY Open).
Core Concepts & Mechanics
1. First Presented FVG (1st P. FVG)
When the session window opens (default 09:30 AM New York Equities Open), price frequently expands to rebalance liquidity. The engine captures the very first valid 3-candle imbalance:
- Bullish (BISI): Low[0] > High[2] (Buy-Side Imbalance, Sell-Side Inefficiency)
- Bearish (SIBI): High[0] < Low[2] (Sell-Side Imbalance, Buy-Side Inefficiency)

- Extend Infinitely (Right): Casts levels forward into future price action.
- Label Customization:
- Toggle between Clean Text or Badge format.
- Format options: Day + Date (e.g. Fri 09/04 1st P. FVG), Day Only, Date Only, or Short.
- Midline 0.5 price reference toggles.
- Session HUD Dashboard: Top-right dashboard summarizing live session status, active session open price, and detected imbalances.
- Institutional Alerts: Built-in alerts for 1st FVG formation, Reflection FVG formation, and Reflection C.E. tests.
How to Use
- Context & Bias: Let the session open and wait for the 1st Presented FVG to print.
- Identify the Counter-Imbalance: Watch for displacement back in the opposite direction printing the Reflection FVG.
- Execution: Monitor price delivery toward the Consequent Encroachment (50% level) of the Reflection FVG or 1st FVG for institutional reaction and continuation toward key session liquidity pools.
