Scary Flush + High Momentum Detector [Futures]
Paints bars that exceed a pre determined threshold of gradient.
The scary flush indications are used to determine when a flush meets a definition of a "scary flush," and best when observed on a 10min or 15min chart at least. On lower time frames these are not relevant. For the flush bars, it considers the low of the current bar compared to the low of the previous bar and if that exceed the user inputed gradient threshold, paints the bar.
The high momentum bars are used to identify when price is recovery a level with good momentum. This simply looks at the gradient of the current bar, from its open price to its close price. The bar should be a bullish bar with the open very near the low and the close very near the high, otherwise the signal is invalid. This is best used on a 2min or 3min chart, since on higher time frames, the move will have passed by the time a 15min candle generate the signal. Look for entry when you see instant continuation above the signal bar that passes through a significant low, major level or that clears the danger zone.
