Sweep Odds: Do Liquidity Sweeps Really Reverse? [Nambou]

"Price swept the highs, now it reverses." You hear it every day. But how often does that actually happen on the symbol you trade? I wanted a number instead of a feeling, so I built a tool that scores every sweep on your chart and tells you the odds the moment a new one prints 📡
🎯 What it does
Sweep Odds tracks the liquidity levels traders watch: swing highs and lows, and the previous day's high and low. When a candle wicks through one of them and closes back inside, that's a sweep. The script then follows what price does next:
✅ Reversed: price moved back at least 1 ATR from the sweep's close within 20 bars.
❌ Failed: a bar closed beyond the sweep's wick first.
⚪ Faded: neither happened in time.
Every sweep on your chart history is scored this way, so the odds come from your symbol and your timeframe, not from someone's screenshot.
👀 What you see on the chart
🟢 A green dot on the wick: that sweep reversed, with an arrow showing the move back.
🔴 A red dot: it failed.
⚪ A grey dot: it faded.
Solid dots are strong rejections (the wick is at least half the candle). See-through dots are weak ones.
A new sweep gets its odds right away, for example "↩ 67%", plus a dotted line at its reversal target, until it is scored.
Swing levels are drawn from the candle that made them, and the previous day's high and low are marked PDH and PDL.
📊 The odds table
For each level type (swing high, swing low, previous day high, previous day low) the table shows how often sweeps reversed, split into strong and weak rejections, with the number of cases.
The last column is the honest part: "any bar". It runs the exact same test from every single bar. If sweeps don't beat that number, the sweep isn't giving you an edge on this symbol, and that's worth knowing too.
🔔 Alerts
Create an alert on the indicator with "Any alert() function call" and you get a message on every sweep with its odds, the number of past cases and the any-bar rate.
⚙️ Settings worth knowing
"Swing size": bars on each side of a swing (8 by default).
The reversal distance (1 ATR) and the time limit (20 bars) can be changed. A bigger target makes every number smaller, so compare against the any-bar column, not against 50%.
"A strong rejection has a wick of at least" 50% of the candle by default.
Odds show once a level type has 8 scored sweeps.
⚠️ Worth knowing
Each sweep's odds only use sweeps that were already scored before it, and everything is judged on closed bars, so nothing looks ahead and nothing repaints. The odds describe this chart's history; they are not a forecast, and a 67% setup still fails a third of the time.
This is a charting tool, not financial advice.
