Eye Aurora Flow [EyeAlgo]

Eye Aurora Flow paints a Northern-Lights style glow behind price: the aurora grows wider and brighter when momentum builds, fades when it dies, and slowly changes colour before the trend turns.

🟢 OVERVIEW
Most trend tools are a single line that is either green or red. By the time it flips, the move is often half done. Eye Aurora Flow turns the background into a living sky, so you can read three things at a glance:
▶ Who is in control right now? (green-cyan = buyers, magenta-violet = sellers, pale blue = nobody)
▶ How much fuel is behind the move? (wide, bright aurora = strong; thin, faint aurora = weak)
▶ Is the colour starting to drift the other way? (an early warning before the trend actually flips)
🟢 WHAT MAKES IT ORIGINAL
▶ Asymmetric aurora: the glow stretches further toward the side momentum is pushing, so the shape itself shows direction, not only the colour.
▶ Two-speed colour engine: a fast flow leads the colour and a slow flow decides the trend, so the hue shifts gradually instead of snapping.
▶ Colour-Shift warning (◆): marks the bar where the fast flow turns against the current trend, before the trend flip (▲▼).
▶ Self-measured early-warning rate: the dashboard counts how often a Colour Shift was followed by a real trend flip on your symbol and timeframe, and the average lead in bars.
▶ Aurora Curtain dashboard (top right): the last 12 bars drawn as light curtains — height = energy, colour = flow — so you can see energy building or fading bar by bar.
▶ Fully own calculation (ATR-normalised flow + percentile energy). No moving-average ribbon or squeeze formula copied from other scripts.
🟢 HOW IT WORKS
1. Flow
Fast flow and slow flow measure how far price is from its fast and slow EMAs, divided by ATR, then smoothed. This makes the reading comparable across symbols and volatility regimes.
2. Hue
Both flows are blended into one hue from −1 (full bear) to +1 (full bull). The fast flow carries more weight, so colour starts moving before the trend changes. Near 0 the aurora turns pale blue.
3. Energy
The combined strength of both flows is ranked against the last 200 bars (percentile, 0–100%). High energy = wide, bright aurora. Low energy = narrow, faint aurora.
4. Aurora layers
Six glow layers above and six below an EMA centre line. Width = ATR × (calm width + energy × extra width). The side momentum is pushing gets stretched further. A light ripple gives the curtain effect.
5. Signals and stats
Colour Shift ◆ = fast flow crosses zero against the slow trend (bar close). Trend Flip ▲▼ = slow flow changes sign (bar close). Each Colour Shift is followed for up to 20 bars; if the trend flips in that window it counts as a hit, and the lead time is recorded.
🟢 RESEARCH BEHIND THE DEFAULTS
Measured on OANDA:XAUUSD 30m with the default settings, over the history the chart loads:
▶ Colour Shift → Trend Flip within 20 bars: 71% (n = 947 shifts)
▶ Average lead from the ◆ warning to the ▲▼ flip: 6.1 bars
▶ Same check on OANDA:XAUUSD 1h: 72% (n = 460), average lead 6.6 bars
How to read this: it is the share of Colour Shift warnings that were followed by a trend flip inside the window (precision). Only the first shift of a cluster is counted while one is still open, so the chart can show more ◆ than n. It does not count flips that came without a warning, it has no "random" baseline, and a flip that reverses straight away still counts as a hit.
These numbers are in-sample, measured on chart history, before spread and commission, and are not a performance expectation. They describe how often the colour warning came before a trend flip, not trade profit. Test the parameters and timeframe on your own instrument.

🟢 HOW TO USE
1. Read the colour: trade ideas in the direction of a bright, wide aurora; avoid fighting it.
2. Watch the width: a narrowing, fading aurora means the move is losing fuel — tighten risk or take partials.
3. Watch for ◆ Colour Shift: the sky is starting to change. Treat it as a heads-up, not an entry.
4. Use ▲▼ Trend Flip as the confirmation that the slow trend has turned.
5. Check the dashboard: rising curtains = energy building; the Shift→flip % tells you how reliable the early warning has been on this chart.
🟢 HOW TO CHANGE SETTINGS
Open the indicator settings (gear icon) and adjust the groups below.
Quick guide:
▶ Earlier colour changes: lower "Fast flow length (early colour)".
▶ Slower, steadier trend: raise "Slow flow length (trend)".
▶ Brighter aurora: lower "Glow strength (lower = brighter)".
▶ Calmer look: lower "Curtain ripple" or "Extra width at full energy (× ATR)".
▶ Longer or shorter warning window: change "Shift → flip window (bars)".
🟢 SETTINGS
▶ Flow engine — Fast flow length, Slow flow length, ATR length, Energy lookback (bars).
▶ Aurora shape — Aurora centre length, Calm width (× ATR), Extra width at full energy (× ATR), Stretch toward momentum side, Curtain ripple, Glow strength, Show aurora core line, Sky glow in background, Sky glow transparency.
▶ Colours — Bull inner (green), Bull outer (cyan), Bear inner (magenta), Bear outer (violet), Neutral (fading flow).
▶ Signals — Show colour-shift warnings, Show trend flips, Shift → flip window (bars).
▶ Aurora dashboard — Show aurora curtain dashboard (top right), Text size.
🟢 ALERTS
▶ Colour Shift → Bull
▶ Colour Shift → Bear
▶ Aurora Flip Bull
▶ Aurora Flip Bear
▶ Energy Surge (energy crosses above 80%)
All alerts fire on bar close.
🟢 IMPORTANT NOTES & LIMITATIONS
▶ The aurora glow, colours and dashboard update live on the forming bar; ◆ and ▲▼ markers and alerts appear only after the bar closes and do not repaint.
▶ Energy is a percentile of the last 200 bars, so it needs some history before it settles.
▶ The newest dashboard column is the live bar and moves until the bar closes.
▶ The Shift→flip % depends on how much history your chart loads and changes with symbol and timeframe.
▶ It is a visual context tool. It does not give entries, stops or targets and does not place trades.
▶ The dashboard uses a dark night-sky panel so the colours stay readable on both light and dark chart themes.
